Oh we don’t talk to them, they just stand there, and follow us, everywhere I go, sometimes I have to be on different toons to save my guild. So I can’t RP how I want to.

Right, what’s likely happening (and this is just speculation) is that the OP and their friend group is continuously giving this person acknowledgment and reinforcing the behavior.
My gut feeling is telling me that the OP and their friend group understand this but is doing it on purpose because they actually want people to perceive them as victims to attempt to deliver retribution on this person for daring to interrupt their RP and not abiding by their demands to leave.
Obviously, they could completely ignore the person and deprive them of the attention they seek but they refuse to do so because they don’t want to. They want it to escalate and provoke more extreme behavior.
Maybe I am reading into this too much but I don’t think people are stupid. Based on the original posts hyperbolic statement it just comes off to me as someone trying to be manipulative.

I don’t know if it’s that extreme. Maybe. But it could just be that it’s super annoying and they can’t help but say something to the person, which is exactly what the griefer is hoping for.
All wow characters having resting B face so nobody can tell if they are getting to you or not if you don’t say anything.

Yeah, cause responding to threads in 2024 is the same level of attentiveness we got in 2004 and even 2014. If they cared, I would get more ticket responses with substance and character, and not the canned stuff I’ve gotten for the last to tickets.

Blizzard isn’t the only company/business that uses templates for responses though, it’s not a lack of care it’s an obligation they’re put under and if they deviate they risk losing their job.
This seems like a shot at food service workers, I am a manager at an food service location and I like to PvP. Do my desires instantly become invalidated if my fun comes at the cost of others enjoyment of the game?

I don’t want to direct quote as this thread is older, but likely the same answer you would get today.
If they are circumventing the ignore option and continuing to contact you, that should be reported as Ongoing Harassment.
Following you around or otherwise being in the same location isn’t something that we are generally able to intervene on.

It’s understood that many companies have chosen poor customer service and that it’s still working. I get it, trust me.
I don’t ever expect a windfall “moment” for people either. I expect people to continue taking the least they can get and beating others down until they do the same.

When you give good customer service, it comes at the cost to the company.
I was fired from a CS job because I placed a comment on a warranty claim saying that it needs a second look because it was originally denied and I lost my job over that.
It’s not the reps fault, their hands are tied.
It’s the red tape that is binding them from being able to do their job effectively.

So you want to pay your treatment forward as opposed to agreeing that you were improperly treated. I also get that without agreeing with it.
That sucks, it really does to be entirely honest with you. But giving good customer service with proper oversight of protection of assets should be a priority for all companies in my opinion.

Be angry at the company, not the high turnover employees.
I was improperly treated, but I can’t exactly do anything about that apart from move on.
