- A passive damage increase against Aberrations and Elementals, as well as reduced damage taken from them.
A meh RP flavor racial. Nothing impressive. If it’s 1% it’s nothing, if it’s 5% you risk the situation where everyone switched to Troll in Throne of Thunder for the increase to damage. I could see it being situational in pvp against a shaman for the elemental
- An innate critical strike damage and healing bonus. This may work similarly the Tauren
Probably a decent racial. A lot of classes like crit. Resto druids do not sadly as it only makes our single hot tic crit.
- A targeted ground ability that summons smart roots, which can heal allies and damage enemies.
This is the one I’m worried about. Historically speaking, abilities that do damage/healing are always incredibly undertuned that they’re not even worth pressing. Vulpera Bag of tricks and Earthen Azerite Surge are just completely useless. The only way I see this being good is if the roots also mass root cc enemies.
- A fast travel ability that allows the Haranir to travel across the roots of the World Trees, similar to the Dark Iron Dwarf ability Mole Machine. While some locations will be immediately available for fast travel, others will need to be unlocked by exploring the world.
Peak fantasy, super excited about this, but as a Druid and an Engineer, I hope we get more than just the emerald grove dreamway teleports, which I can do for free and NOT on a cooldown.

I think it’s new locations like the Dark Irons for unique to them Mole Machines.

Well, that fits. I fully expect Haranir themselves to be dead on arrival. Who actually wanted those freaks?

This is how I understood it, too. And there’s several World Trees already in game that could be tagged as locations.

We want High Elves, We want Ogres.

Yes to Ogres, but Amani first! This is our last chance

A lot of people. They’re skimpy elves but a little bit feral. The fan art will be wild.

I’m excited. I want to play this. Let’s get started now.

Of course, but what I mean is that we can already teleport to most of the world trees as druids, such as Amirdrasil, Hyjal etc. I hope they add some new locations.

I do.
It’s not happening. Blizzard has already said they’re just going to add some Amani customizations to Darkspear Trolls.

Kul Tiran druids have more players than Blood Elf Warriors. You’re kidding yourself if you think that any race with druid, let alone an attractive elf race, isn’t going to have tons of players.

Oh for sure. They’ll probably add Vordrassil, in Northrend, Amirdrassil, and hopefully one to Quel’Thalas. Hoping the Blood Elves replanted their world teee.

They didn’t actually say that. They cited hairstyles as customization options that will be unlocked after completing ZA. Do you people even bother to familiarize yourselves with this stuff?
Fun piece of trivia, what is the relevance?
Are Haranir actually an “attractive Elf Race” though? Why would anyone play a Haranir Druid when Night Elves look better and already exist?

The avatar movie was pretty popular so this race might have a shot. Heck if their bonus damage versus aberrations is to powerful we get to have another throne of thunder incident.

So was Kung Fu Panda, and we all know how that turned out.

It turned out great. Even with all the people trying to make sound less awesome.

I have a Pandaren, I like them well enough (unlike Lorelol abomination Haronir interlopers). Pandaren are still one of the least played races though.

You really do have to wonder; why does Blizzard seem so hellbent on avoiding the long-standing races that players have voiced, time and time again, that we want?
Vrykul are obviously at the top of the list, with Ogres and Drustvar, heck even Arrakoa as honorable mentions.

For some reason, they’re just hellbent on fighting the playerbase.

They won’t be any more popular than Zandalari, probably.
People aren’t too big on the more primitive races.
Elves are popular but they also wear shoes, etc.
This is a weird middle ground between trolls and elves, which is already way more niche than elves on their own.
They’ll be more popular than Earthen, because they are better to look at, but not by much, imho.
