Haranir Classes

Im tired of warriors eating good when it comes to new races, both paladin and dk are not on haranir leaving you one option for plate wearing, Im also puzzled by this race getting both monk and warlock from a basis of who/what they are as a race.

We need more plate wearers

Yeah Warlock does NOT make sense to me. Monk maybe in a following patch to show the time it took for them to learn the ways of the Pandaren monks.

Warriors are the most universal class. Any race can pick up a stick and learn to be a warrior. I’d say martial arts or monk would also be a universal class. Anyone can learn how to fight with their fists and feet.

Though, Warlock is a little weird for this race. They seem to want to be intune with the world and its natural settings. Not summon beings from other worlds.

I completely understand warrior being universal and I dont argue its inclusion, and monk to me I find isnt as much because its deeply tied to pandaren spiritualism which I find bizarre for a race that just unearthed itself to already be trained in their ways

I think any culture could develop a martial arts style on its own.

Warlock does seem a bit odd, unless some of them decided it was necessary to combat the latest threat to their slice of the world.

Sure they can be warlocks but not DKs

I’m tired of this anti-dk sentiment Blizzard holds

DKs require there to be someone in the lore who can create DKs. Which there currently isn’t. Warlocks just require some dusty tomes and no morals.

They definitely need dks, write a reason for dks being able to be created, anything can be a dk if you just have a corpse of said race

There wouldn’t have been any way for them to become DK if they never interacted with the world outside until just now.

Maybe in a future patch that class could be added?

Other DKs, solved

And yet theres already monks, they’ve interacted with the pandaren to learn that, since monks arent just pugilists that brawl with fists, theres more to it than just that

Have you seen the quality of the undead that unholy dks can raise? That’s the best they can do. Creating other dks is far beyond them.

This. Spot on. Aaannd my gut is cramping.

Did it during legion, probably be even easier now that we have a direct connection to the power source of DKs

Anyone can learn to fight with their fists for sure.
But monk is a lot more than that.
They are masters of chi/spirit and brews.
Its magical fist fighting thats canonically only been invented by the pandaren and then shared by them. There are no (actual) monks in wow that cannot be traced back to the pandaren.

Then again, every allied race has launched with monk even if they wouldnt have met them before that point.
With the earthen we see the pandaren training them on the beach.
So I guess the panadren showed up around 5 minutes before recruitment for the haranir.
Its pretty on brand for them.

Martial arts need not be specific to that one race only. ANY culture can develop a martial arts style on its own.

It’s only game mechanics that introduced it alongside the Pandaren.

I’m sure we can find a way to raise Haranir as DKs somehow, but before they join the factions, the more logical blocker to me is that none of them have died with us to be raised in the first place.

Plus, who’s to say they’ll be happy with their dead being raised as DKs?

Chen Stormstout just showed up with Li Li and hung out lol

I agree, make it much more exclusive. Remove monk and warlock from the race.

She does have a new model.
Ill accept this as canon.
