Why do you think is the reason? I think something you’re not mentioning is how the right is weaponizing these young men into becoming mass shooters. The hateful rhetoric being spread that influences young men, on top of other social issues they face.

Sorry but this is a ridiculous take. Forcing kids into a specific religion(you obviously wouldn’t want x that you dislike) isn’t going to get rid of any of these problems. This is just sweeping the issues to the side and pretending you’re doing something.
