Personally I’d focus on baron cloak or truestrike over HOJ.
Maybe our raid has had extremely bad rng for melle items which is jading my opinion.( 1 draconic cloak , 0 DFT in 5 months)
I would focus on upgrading other pieces first so anger is easier to solo.
You can always get the elemental deck trinket as a pretty good alternative worst case scenario. They’re fairly cheap these days.
Feral druids can solo farm the trinket too if that makes it easier for you.
Update, I have now run the instance a successful 100x and still no sign of the illusive hand of justice. Going to continue running it once I eat dinner and spend some family time.

I have talked with the best feral in the world and he said that a proc rate trinket as no value if the fight last 15 sec. This is why he use the dfg and black hand breath.
From what I understand, once it migrates to emperor it has roughly a 20% drop rate. Lava jumps aren’t as fast as anger runs by any means, but if you can get it in 1-7 runs (more if you are extremely unlucky), I would say that’s a pretty big win.
For raw dps, Malfurions absolutely destroys anything currently available OTHER than the r13 chest. 40 pure strength scales better with kings than the 60attack power +8/8 on cadaverous.
I farmed my HoJ nonstop the day i hit 60, expecting huge things. 2% chance to proc another auto is such a miniscule dps increase compared to pure crit or more AP. I honestly can’t wait to replace it.
I did end up getting the trinket, after 137 runs!
