I was out questing and got jumped by a rogue and paladin. I was fighting off the rogue and then I get hit with a 2.5 million hammer of light. In full conquest gear, that is nearly 40% of my HP bar lol.
And no, I don’t play fire or frost, only arcane. It’s a pain to fight rogues as arcane – one kick and I can’t shield, blink, temporal, alter, gravity lapse, poly or damage.
It just caught me off guard, 2.5 million! Not even my 4 second arcanosphere hits that hard (a little over one million).

Just a lucky crit which almost never happens as pallys have next to no crit lol. Just chalk it up to bad luck and kill him next time.

Ret must always have the ability to 60-0 somebody by accident or it’s bad.

but usually high 2s low 3s
ret just isn’t good if it cant 40-0 you randomly on accident

And I don’t think Arcane has that level of representation either, but it still can’t hit you that way.

I don’t understand why make a post about losing a 2v1 though, realistically speaking a ret should almost never get close to you as arcane.
It’s just WPvP. I accepted my fate (I knew I was cooked). I was just genuinely taken back by that hit. One second I’m at nearly 3 million hp, the next, I’m dead lol.
And that is a fair statement, most ret can’t touch me and give up after their cds are used up. Some fights are just so lobsided.

2.5M is the highest you will probably get hit by of you really are geared. Probably a crit too. When they wake with final reckoning and offensive trinket you just blink db and sheep them forever.
Giga buffed hammer sometimes can br scary, normal hammer is lame
