Halp. Artifact quest bugged

I’ve been working on the Ulthalesh, the Deadwind Harvester questline and I seem to be stuck after The Fate of Deadwind. It appears that quest has been completed, but I do not have the next quest in my log, and Revil Kost (still found back at camp site) is not giving it to me. The name of the quest I need is The Dark Riders. I found one mention of this on WoWhead but there was no fix listed, so I’m wondering if anyone else had this same issue? I’ve looked near Karazhan (coordinates shown for Revil Kost on WoWhead) and back at the campsite where I left him after The Fate of Deadwind.

I put in a report and was answered being told to abandon and reacquire the quest, which would be great except there is nothing to abandon since the quest(The Dark Riders) didn’t auto-update.

I’ve tried reloading. Exiting. Disabling all addons, etc.

Customer service is no help as they just told me to reload and/or abandon quest(even after I explained why I can’t abandon).

  • Note this is the second major bug in this questline. First when I chose the dialogue to kill Revil and then ran into a bug where he would despawn when I was near him inside the house. I had to talk to him from OUTSIDE the house via some sneaky camera tricks to complete that part lol.

August 21 2024 still the same problem. I too killed him in the hut and then had to talk to him outside of the hut via sneaky camera tricks. Ive sent a ticket to blizz but they just tell me to check wowhead and that they cant fix it. They told me to report it as a bug. Revis just seems to dissapear at deadwind pass and no follow up quest “Dark Riders”. I will keep reporting this as a bug.

On top of this some people to this stage yet, Currently if you havent handed in the light shard that fell in Surumar, you cant now as Dalaran Khadgar is just talking about new quests and isnt there to receive the old ones.

amazing. every time i encounter a bug, i search a little, and find out it is YEARS old and has been reported multiple times.

dear blizzard; stop pumping out half caked content, and store mounts, and FIX YOUR DAMNED GAME.
