Halls of Atonement is Ridiculous

The timer is wayyyy too tight for 12s and up.

  1. There should be no reason to have to MANDITORILY pull trash into bosses to time a key, especially only a 12.

  2. The amount of trash you have to pull for percentage is crazy.

  3. There are 4 mini bosses in addition to the bosses. And one of the mini bosses takes like 3 minutes to kill. What a stupid mechanic to keep bashing on ONE trash mob while it constantly heals up for 4 minutes.

  4. The trash in this dungeon is DEADLY. The AoE from the first 3 mini bosses is insane alone AND you have to pull 8+ other dangerous mobs into those pulls to time the key. My healer friends have been having mental breakdowns over this dungeon. Even the “small” mobs are deadly. Eviscerator’s have rando non-cast deadly glaives, the little hoppy guys melt dps and heals, gorgon’s enrage, the list is endless.

  5. Slashers are BUGGED. They port around the instance ambushing you in random spots. We were on the stupid mini boss before last boss and a random slasher just appeared and started bashing on us. Another time there was a slasher in the wall on 2nd boss that nuked our healer and wasn’t targetable.

  6. Too many caster mobs that start insta casting again almost as soon as interrupted, with deadly casts.

  2. Every dungeon in this season requires big pulls.
  3. Take a healing reduction class to trivialize the last mini boss.
  4. It’s healer game. Didn’t healers say that they wanted challenges and to be meaningful to the party?
  5. Looks like someone in your party left something behind at the statue and agroed it when the slasher turned back to active form.
  6. Well, you don’t need to pull excessively big for a 12.

Overall, skill issue but I agree HoA is one of the harder dungeons in this season.

This was the dungeon I had the most difficulty timing.

You dont. Currently doing 14/15, we don’t NEED to do this. we do it, but we 100% don’t have to.

Not trying to say “git gud” but if the last miniboss is giving u that much struggle, its 100% a skill issue. not saying u specifically, but at a +12 level, there is a HUGE range of skill levels. This mini boss is insanely easy if played around corrrectly. i.e., everyone should be popping CDs and ideally your 3rd lust of the dungeon. even on a 15, we killed him b4 his second heal. with lower skilled players, they dont do any of this. they save CDs for boss. they save lust for boss. so the mini goes from a 1 ish minute fight to a 3-4 min one.

agreed. the trash tuning is very bad.

havent seen slasher bugs in any of my many runs. the slasher “appearing” on the mini b4 last boss isnt a bug. someone pulled it from the 3rd boss room, and it snapped into the next room. whether they did that on purpose or not, its still not a bug. its a snap.

ultimately, yeah the timer is a little tight, but nowhere near the level people seem to think it is. the tuning of the dungeon is the problem. if you really feel like the timer is unreasonably tight, look at ur groups deaths in the run. if u have 8 deaths, thats -2min. if you have 0 deaths and the timer is not timeable, thats a dps/routing issue.

Ara Kara needs a nerf also. That instance is also has a tight timer and some of bosses and mobs have way too much health.

You’re in the depths where it’s not even a reasonable complaint.

Not saying this a good idea but if the dps prioritize the adds first at the last mini boss then he can’t heal.

I am not the only one to complaint here. both Icy-vein and WoWhead had a article that shows that everyone is struggling to do both of the instance. you can’t screw up otherwise you will brick the key. its very likely HoA and Ara are going get nerfs because data

Lower the key doesn’t solve the problem when everyone is struggling to time a 10 Ara Kara or HoA, When WoWhead and Icy-vien point that out you know blizzard gone and F up.

Ara-kara is substantially nerfed vs s1. Git gud.

And yes, the last boss not one shotting people trivializes it.

You have people fit for 8s trying 10s, people that should be in 10s doing 12s, creating a perpetual never ending cycle of failure.

People are doing…+19s already.

If the slasher snaps up while nobody explicitly aggroed it, the bug is that it aggroed, not that it snapped.

Healing 12 Ara and HoA pre-nerf felt like healing 14s/15s. It was way overtuned and needed the nerfs.

People reached those keys at a faster point relative to s2 and s1.

My HoA 11 was pre nerf and didn’t feel that bad compared to other 11s. Ara Kara however I hated pre nerf, probably due to all the poisons I can do nothing to remove as a priest.

if u have to pull trash into a boss for a +12 ur dps sucks, its not the timer, in a 12 all the dps should be hitting AT LEAST 6.5mil, with the tank at 3+mil
