Hallows end needs to be the entire month

Hallows end is the only holidays that matters really. I think it should be the entire month, or if not a bit longer than what it’s been. Spooky season starts end of august!

At the very least make the broom mount year round. I’ve a priest mogged like a witch and there is no better mount.

I’d take month long Hallows end. My Halloween starts in September anyways.

How greedy you are,
You rant and you rave!

But only two weeks you will get,
To return the Horseman to his grave!

Take this with a grain of salt - I 100% cannot confirm this nor do I know this is true.

But - ALLEGEDLY - I’ve heard that they plan on adding a broom as a trading post mount sometime in the near to distant future.

Yeah, I’ve seen the datamined model and at one point it was WoWhead that said it’d be trading post. Would be cool if it’s true. Though as you said, gotta take such speculation with a grain of salt.

it would be nice if they could slowly update some of these holiday events, especially hallows end. have some zombie invasions and witch hunts. have random vampires that can bite you in the open world and turn you into a san’layn vampire for a few hours. i dunno just some random stuff like that.

other holidays can add some spice as well. something to look forward to for everyone but especially the older players that have already attained every reward from these events 10-15 years ago.

Ftfy.

Traditionally Samheim was like Day of the Dead, a single day to celebrate the departed, celebrated on the old calender, the last day of the year when “the year too dies”. Calenders used to end on October and the solstice was believed to bring the worlds of the living and dead close enough together for good and evil spirits to once more pass through to the living world.

depends on whether or not your parents were divorced :stuck_out_tongue:
hate your step family? you probably arent a massive fan of christmas.

No it doesn’t. We don’t need the ever-extending holiday commercialism crap to be in WoW too. 2 weeks is fine for Hallow’s End.

I’m just going to say it. Obsessing over Halloween isn’t a substitute for a personality.

I feel like this would be a win.

Let people live that wizard or witch fantasy, and Blizzard can introduce a new event mount or a new unlockable mount in general, something pumpkin related would be nice.

Oh! How about a mount that changes depending on the event being active or not. Like, a carriage mount, which people have been asking for. It’s a normal carriage for most of the year but during the Halloween event it’s a giant pumpkin drawn by skeletal horses.

As much as I revel in the thought of baby bunnies frollicing in a wildflower strewn medow under a buttercream sun, eating berries after a long winter…

“Spooky season” is definitely my favourite time of year. The darker darker days, the cool crisp air, the sound of wind whispering thru the dry leaves… reading by the fireplace, with tea or coffee… the way peoples windows light up and glow with autumnal warmth when the sun goes down…

I prefer rainy days to sunny ones too. Just something about cooler, darker weather that makes me feel so much more calm, happy and creative. It relaxes the mind but awakens the body!

Nothing is worse than the hot, angry sun, screeching down it’s hail of burning needles, admist the stench of concrete, smog and humidified vegetation.

Summer = yuck! At least in the city…

if that updated broom mount isn’t permanent we are going to riot and take mass protest in front of Blizzard HQ!
