Hallow's End Lordaeron phasing broken

Zidormi isn’t outside Lordaeron, so on a 74 evoker, at least, Lordaeron is surrounded by the plague.

Same issue. On an alt and I clicked the UC portal, and I was immediately teleported inside the city Mage Quarter and died due to poison. once I rezzed at the Spirit Healer near Brill, I’m in the blighted version of Tirisfal with seemingly no way to switch the phase.

Same here. Works obviously while in Chromie Time, but not once you hit level 71.

Has the character done the BfA intro? That corrected it for one of my 70s who had not yet. Probably need to finish the quest where they set up the portal room.

No, mostly because the thought of doing the Horde BfA intro for what feels like the 90th time is exhausting. :upside_down_face:

While this may work as a workaround, it’s not a fix to the underlying bug.

There is ZERO reason that Zidormi should ever be absent.

I have one character who did BFA and Shadowlands to clean up the city. Its the only one who can change the phasing. They need to move this to another city.

It’s fine being in Undercity (in fact there’s lore reasons it needs to be in Undercity Tirisfal). They just need to permanently fix the phasing, and make Zidormi always show regardless of masking.

No, undercity is gone. Above is different but still phased. They could move it Brill. Or another town in the area.

Oh, thought you meant like moving it to Thunder Bluff or Orgrimmar. Yeah, Brill works

Had the same problems with a Dracthyr who has only done the 20th anniversary event. Picked up the quest at level 73 and flew up there. Got into a dungeon and got up to 74. Flew over the ruins and it was full of green plague(?) on the ground. Went and talked to Zidormi, like the quests suggests, was zoned to another timeline and flew back over the ruins. Nothing had changed and Zidormi was gone. Read this post, skippet the intro for BfA until I got to Boralus and did the quest line until the trading company quest. Went back again and talked to Zidormi again and it worked. Got the quest done.
It shouldn’t be necessary to do the intro to BfA to get this done but for now it is working.
Note that Chromie Time is not working at that level and you have to pick up the BfA quest at the NPC next to one of the mission boards in Stormwind (for the Alliance).

Honestly, this whole mess is just another example of why Chromie Time should be permanently accessible.

Here’s some more fun: The portal from Orgrimmar sentences you to death in the Undercity, but the orb of translocation in Silvermoon properly places you in safety, next to where Zoridormi should be.

there are sooo many corpses in Lordaeron its not even funny it looks like a PvP raid or something

To add a funny wrinkle to this, even if you’re in the correct phase and have Zidormi available, the entirety of the Ruins of Lordaeron when viewed from the air still has the sickly green glow of the plague as though it’s still in the BFA phase. Thankfully, it wasn’t lethal.

Happened to me as well, went to the UC and saw my character dead surrounded by skeletons, expect when I rezzed at the spirit healer, I tried to fly to Zori but I randomly got knocked off my mount and now I’m disconnecting everytime I try and get in. Been happening since 11pm yesterday and its 1:55pm for me rn.

got to do the quest on alts that want to see the vendor, so its Best to only do the event on MAIN toon so you can see the vendor and spend the candy

I also can’t do hallows end ob any of my horde characters, They have all finished the BFA quests and zoridorni used to appear, but now she is gone. So for me there is absolutely no way to do hallows end.

Whoever approved release of this patch needs to be demoted to janitor, because they are obviously used to dealing with garbage.

Well this sucks. I’ve been collecting tricky treats on this toon all day and now I can’t turn them in? I don’t even know where to go to start the BFA stuff. I mostly did Alliance during BFA.

I’ve found a foolproof way to force Cata phasing, no questing required:

You first have to group with a character in Cata Chromie Time (I used a spare Starter Account I use to help with achievements, but anyone will do). Then once you’re in the party, you activate Party Sync from the quest log; this will force Zidormi to appear, no matter what quests you’ve done. You can then speak to her to ask to go to pre-BFA Tirisfal, like you’re supposed to be able to do, and the Cata phasing will stick around even after you leave the party.

This works for both Horde and Alliance.
