I play Shadowlands, Hallows end stuff is here, however, when I am on my demon hunter and try to walk into an inn to access it, everything disappears, if I am in a party, i go into a different phase than they are in, it only happens on my demon hunter, I did it on my level 50 mage and was able to access all the Hallows end quests and pumpkins in the inn, but not on my demon hunter. I have tried putting myself in warmode and still does the same thing, I changed my Cashe, interface, and WTF folders to CasheOld, InterfaceOld, and WTFOld, and i still cannot access it, I also tried seeing if it was a Problematic Startup and followed those directions and still the same thing, Unable to access Hallows end quests and pumpkins at the inn, they all just disappear, Im at a loss. I dont run any additional addons and just run the regualr game that I downloaded from the blizzard website, any help would be wonderful
Check your quest log. You might be on a quest that phases you out for some reason. You might try looking up each quest to see if others have had phasing issues… or, if it doesn’t bother you that much, you can just abandon each quest and see if that causes the phasing problem to correct itself.
which zone? you may need to phase the map back to the past depending on the zone. Also, some zones in MoP you need to do a few quests in order for the pumpkins to show up. WoWhead achievement page has a comment with everything that you need to do to get into the correct phases for each pumpkin.
I second what Auruma mentioned: You may need to finish questlines for the areas to load their current state.
So I deleted almost all of the quests in my quest log, The only ones I have are the quests for Chains of domination and a few daily quests for my Covenant, Still no avail, I still walk into the in inn Orgrimmar and all the Hallows End stuff disappears and I end up in a different phase if I am in a party, Same as if I am in a party and try to fly out of Orgrimmar I end up in a different phase than my party. I love Halloween and really looked foreward to doing the Hallows end quests and everything on my main character, This is super frustrating!!!
Or, use the sync up option in the log panel. This is what I’ve discovered I need to use if I need help in anything others have already completed.
But can’t remember if the leader of the group needs to be you in order to sync to you or not. Might want to check that out as it is a mighty convenient option that Wow implemented a while back.
Ok, so if you deleted all your quests, you might want to open a ticket for support as this suspiciously feels just like what I experienced when I switched factions a couple of years back. I ended up getting contacted by a GM who told me that there was nothing the player could do to fix the glitch I was experiencing, only a GM could do that. Then he proceeded to fix the problem.
He never did explain exactly WHAT that glitch was just that the player would never have been successful trying to fix it because it was only accessible by a GM.
i have opened up a ticket, their response was meerly just do the things I have already done and then submit a bug report and that “it will get looked into that way” I went to thunderbluff and was able to enter the inn and nothing disappeared, but when I go to orgrimmar and then try to fly out to the quest where you have to put the fires out, I get put in another phase and am unable to see hallows end stuff, sounds like a bug that a GM needs to fix, but they dont seem to really be helping me all that much except to just report it through game
The inn at Org phases if you are on the questline to start BFA where Sylvanas sends you to meet your team and Nathanos asks you to drink a potion. Outside Org will be phased for Legion intro quests, maybe other expansions as well? Even if you abandon a quest, if you are at a certain phase in the questline, I wonder if you are still technically not progressed enough to phase back into the normal Org and would have to complete them rather than abandon? Was the character boosted? Did you do any of these questlines? Make sure to activate trivial quests in the minimap as well so that you can see them if you outleveled those chains.
there was an issue the other day, where you couldn’t put out the fires, because there were none. even the quest Fire Training couldn’t be finished, because the targets that you’re suppose to throw buckets of water at, weren’t on fire.
though this was on Horde side on Duskwood, not sure about any where else.
