Is anyone else sort of sad that there's no new Exquisite Costume this year? Last year we got Xavius and that was amazing
Not only that, but the BFA zones are untouched, no new inns, quests, etc. And we go back to Darnassus and Undercity. I feel like an update for this event of some kind was so called for, especially due to recent events in-game since this is such an old event, but... *shrug*
Sure, we got a neat Hearthstone effect, but as a whole for this year, nada. Really disappointed about that, honestly.
Edit: And yes, we did get a lot of snazzy things last year, but still. New bucket locations! Something!

Yeah for sure, if any holiday event needed a revamp, this was the one that needed it. Even Legion felt kinda lackluster. We got a new costume and witches hats.... woooo.
I'm glad I'm a pessimist and am not surprised that they let yet another important thing for the community down. They'll just listen to these complaints and put them towards the xmas events that already have saturated amounts of things every year.

Surprising none I am sure, I am quite happy with the new hearthstone. And I didn't get everything last year so I will work towards those too.
I like to keep my expectations for anything new involving the holidays incredibly low so I'm not too let down whenever they roll around. It has proven useful this year.
While I absolutely love UC during Hallow's End, the fact that it's still the main spot for the holiday while being destroyed in the current timeline does annoy me. It's a small thing to many, but it makes the destruction feel pointless when those small things aren't addressed.

These would be relatively easy to create and implement but it just makes Blizzard look lazy.
Then again, they're also taking the lazy route on set armor design (only 4 of them, and in 3 shades of puke colors), set bonuses (eliminated), class design (pruned), and pretty much any other aspect of the game.

They never do holiday updates in the first year of an xpac, hence why there was an update last year but not this year.
We have an entire zone that's basically dedicated to witches and you are telling me Blizzard couldn't do anything halloween related with that?
I have no words for this dev team.
It's like they have no soul or passion anymore; feels like they are just going through the motions.

No,
It's a gimmicky holiday event that has been 90% re-treads for as long as it's been around.
If you get so invested in it that you experience disappointment that the fluff event wasn't extra fluffy for you, it's time to step away.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.. It not that it's a re-hash. It a re-hash in a unless part of the game now. Undercity gone. Should moved it to Org.
if you use the back in time mechanic to go to brill/courtyard and you log out...would i log back into an ocean of green goo and die? or will it remembered i i said i wanted to go back in time. i would need to find a new location to do the horseman quest if that is so...it would be very annoying otherwise.

I don't believe that they've ever done this in the past, e.g. the minion of grumpus was added in 6.2, not WoD's launch. Next Hallow's Eve we should see decorations in BfA zones.
It would be awesome if they had at least one person who could make more activities in the established events, I understand there might be some reluctance; 'well newer players have to catch up for holiday achievements' or some such, but we don't have to make new aspects of events equating to more achievement requirements.
I want to keep these 'big' holidays awesome, especially for my max level toons not just for my lowbies.

It should have been Orgrimmar to begin with. I know that aesthetically it makes more sense to host it in Undercity but when you're throwing stink bombs in a city full of rotting corpses? You're actually improving the smell if anything.
That aside, the new toy is nice for those who missed the Diablo Anniversary event.

What new players?
Shouldn't surprise anyone, Hallows end generally doesn't get updated with new items till the second year of an expansion
I just love the insta-broom mount! \o/

I know, I was pretty disappointed by that too. Drustvar is the perfect setting for something Halloween.

That is silly. They could have put it in for this year. I mean, what else are they so busy doing???

Is it tiring white knighting all the time?
It just goes to show that the Devs dont really care about this game any more and is on auto pilot. Hallows End could have been easily updated and things added . But no. That would be fun and Blizzard removes fun.
Seriously this game needs a new Dev team ASAP
