Halloween event

Are we going to have halloween this month on classic? I thought it would’ve started already.

did they have halloween events in vanilla? that’d be pretty cool

Yea. Just don’t know how long they lasted.

There was a post about this, but i wouldn’t know where to begin to find it. I think there was not any holiday events in the version that was built off of. It might have been brewfest that came right after.

They had the harvest festival thing with the free food and drinks, so they just might have Hallow’s End.

Here is the one i was referring to. halfway down is the release info

It was noble garden i was remembering not brewfest

In theory, based upon the patch they were introduced, Classic WoW should have:

  • Feast of Winter Veil (1.2)
  • Noblegarden (1.3)
  • Children’s Week (1.4)
  • Harvest Festival (1.6)
  • Hallow’s End (1.8)
  • Lunar Festival (1.9)
  • Love is in the Air (1.9.3)
  • Midsummer Fire Festival (1.11)
  • Peon Day (1.12.1)

Similarly, you should not expect these:

  • New Year (2.0.1)
  • Brewfest (2.2.2)
  • Pirates’ Day (2.4.3)
  • Pilgrim’s Bounty (3.2)
  • Day of the Dead (3.2)

But that’s just basing things on the version they were introduced. Things are a bit out-of-place from a rigid patch version timeline given the whole Phase thing.

It begins on the 18th in Retail.

The only major holiday that wasn’t in vanilla was brewfest. Hallow’s end will be later this month (likely with next weeks or week after that’s reset).
Just realize it’s quite different than the retail version.

I think there’s an alchemy recipe I need to get from the Hallows Event. Frost mage thing.

I hope we get Halloween thats a fun one IMO

I want the item that turns me in to a snowman so i can jump off cliffs and use it in midair to not take fall damage like in vanilla.

I want my headless horseman mount.

Hallow’s End is in, but it has never started this early. It should start on 10/18, same as BFA. It doesn’t have the same content, though. No HH.

That would be great. I love Halloween so a fun little Halloween event would be a nice way to get into the season.
