If i flipped a quarter a hundred times and it only came up heads, i wouldn’t go to an online forum the manufacturer has said it doesnt read to suggest the quarter must be broken.
He knows it exists on the loot table and is currently dropping or he wouldn’t be after it at all. Being upset you’re the victim of unlucky rng is no reason to cry foul like the game is broken on the forums the game devs don’t read. Forum whining/complaining comes in all forms. Some of it is just worthy of a sarcastic response.
Any luck yet? You could just queue up for the daily bag (for helm) and last 2 days of HH event just keep running it
It did finally drop! I don’t know the exact number of times it took, but if I had to guess it was around 60-70 tries. It dropped after I hadn’t been on in about 24 hours, and my first run it dropped. So the whole thing was weird. I’ve played this game since original Vanilla and have had more than my share of bad RNG, but this was to the point where something felt broken. Appreciate all the responses, GL out there

Welcome to RNG . I run 5 though it and ones I want something never see it . But on a toon you could care less about they get every thing , My DK got helm and ring yet my warrior has seen nothing but blue brooms .
There is a strength/stam helm that drops?

My DK would like to know why the helm has such a low drop rate, as I have ironically gotten it on my clothies numerous times.

I never seen any helm lol thought it was just the rings. And i probably did 50 or so runs
It drops you are just unlucky. I’ve seen it on 3 characters
the helm and sword only drop from the once a day “loot filled pumpkin” reward

Helm is ilvl 365. 371str/411sta/171hit/218crit/meta-yellow+30str
my 4 days played BE prot/ret pally got it her first day. DK, other pally, and warrior no joy been running every day.
8% drop rate (same with sword and mount).
sword is MH, 488.8dps-2.6/103agi/290sta/103hit/103expert

it’s a catchup weapon for non-raiders, not for a raider who has better. ie: for scrubs like me. if it weren’t for the archie 1h, I’d be using the 333 quest reward in twilight highlands.
HH sword is good for a non-raider, even a str user. Particularly warrior and pally tanks, when vengeance ramps up AP based on HP. icy veins doesn’t even list str in their stat priority for prot warrior, but does add some to the heavily penalized parry. And avoidance stats have been nerfed in cata.
The HH’s 488 DPS is better than the 462dps archeology 1h str sword. I wonder how that sims out in actual DPS? Add weap dps + crit but less AP from str. About even?
Compared to equal ilevel 1h str BS sword Unbreakable Guardian, the secondary stat values are the same 103, but on the HH sword, the sword was given more stam and less agi. Having hit and expertise adds value for all melee instead of a secondary stat that might be wasted for some specs, if it were haste (tank) or crit(frost).
HH sword is 103agi/290sta
UG is 155str/232sta
while rogues won’t appreciate 50agi being removed for stam, seems like blizz tried to satisfy all 1h users while simultaneously ticking them off haha.
compared to a 346 or lower weapon, no contest. HH sword is better.
my 3 scrub tanks still mailing the archie sword and shield back and forth, so the 1 prot warrior that got this will just use Sirocco since i’m mailing the shield too.
