Hall of Fame Eligibility and Casual Mythic Raiding

I want to raid casual mythic. It’s nothing but the next boss after H Fyrakk. My guild needs people, we’re on a small server (so player base not available to pug from), so we need cross realm mythic raiding, but it won’t be open until Hall of Fame closes. Alternately, I would like to pug into someone else’s casual mythic raid group.

The reason we can’t raid xrealm Mythic during Hall of Fame is because people would use it to funnel gear, cherry-pick the best of the best players, and cheese the HoF.

Could we please, PLEASE be allowed to run cross realm mythic raids, WHILE Hall of Fame is still open, ON THE PROVISION that anyone who raids Mythic cross realm AT ALL is no longer eligible for Hall of Fame?

Negate eligibility, problem solved. In the mean time, let us PLAY, not competitively, because the raid season simply DIES after AoTC otherwise. We can’t just move on to the next boss, we can’t experience the additional content, because we are being locked out by a competition that we have zero interest in participating in.

I would think there would be some way Blizzard can allow the folks who want to compete for Hall of Fame to still compete while opening up the option for others who are stuck after getting AoTC. This would be a wonderful thing to be able to do!

Or checkbox it like in Diablo, you create a seasonal character for the specific purpose of pursuing Hall of Fame, and therefore abide by the parameters applied for eligibility. Only the “created” seasonal character is just a checkbox you apply to your main for the duration of the competition.

Isn’t the wait on the Alliance side? HoF sitting at 127/200 with only 27 of it being Alliance? Holding the rest of the community up from being to cross realm. Let’s go Alliance!!

I think it’s just the top 200 now, so whether it’s Alliance or Horde, COME ON, HARDCORE RAIDERS! Hurry up :stuck_out_tongue:

The issue has many facets. They should tune the bosses so that HoF fills up 2-4 weeks into the season. Nobody wants to do 400 pulls on a boss, and 2 day mythic guilds just can’t. Season isn’t long enough.

1600 guilds clearing mythic in a season is a failure.

Luke warm take: nobody cares if people cheese the HoF, or run 1800 splits or whatever other degenerate stuff that these guilds would do. Your average mythic guild runs 2/3 nights and has a roster that can’t handle 2 people calling out at once. Design the raid for them. The world first guilds will still be world first.

It’s taking too long and leaving awkward gaps for guilds, pugs and players alike.

Flex raid sizing for mythic raid would also be great. Sure, world first guilds should still need 20 for world first eligibility. But yeah, for the average mythic guild, two people having real life stuff shouldn’t mean the other 18 people in the raid group simply CAN’T raid for the week.

Yes, the roster boss is so poorly designed. Just let people continue on after Heroic clearing. Make it flex like everything else. And I don’t care about “balanced” and “the raid is only tuned for exactly 20” BS. Just let me go in there with my aotc guild and down a boss or 2.

what if the xrealm runs are not gaining loot? instead of the HoF restriction.

Need loot drops, just apply a “xrealm loot” code to it so it can’t be used in HoF

Last tier the HoF filled in like week 7 and it felt incredibly underwhelming as a tier.

The problem this tier is just tindral, fyrakk hasn’t even been that bad for the guilds that are on / progressing it.

The duration of HOF, the tier, the bosses or everything? I feel disagreement there.

At some point, I have to wonder for whom they’re designing the content. 1600-ish guilds killed sark last season. I just don’t think that’s the way.

At least in the next expansion they are realizing holding back cross realm is stupid and are making it cross realm at launch (like literally everything else in the game. Imagine if at a certain key level or arena rating you could only group with people from your server lol).

Raid ID lockouts and some flex in size will be the next barriers to fall, maybe in Midnight and the expansion after that I forget its name.

The last titan.

Flex in mythic seems like such a no brainer. Maybe even bigger one then empowered soar. It fixes so many things.

that’s Sark. but what about the other bosses?

one boss for the uberleets is not too much.

Should allowed cross realm mythic raiding few expansions ago. Blitz’s ego with hall of fame to unlock the raid is so dumb found. Now even with another season yet to see 200 guild to clear fyrakk.

The “uberleets” will always have their boss; it’s the version that’s available during the World First race, or the first couple of weeks. Quite often, there’s at least one boss that gets redesigned or changed significantly after that. If you or I roll up and kill Sark or Fyrakk after that, or near the end of a tier, we’re not the “uberleet” anyway.

If it has to be in the game at all it should go away week 4. Its annoying having no cross realm because two bosses are tuned to the moon.
