Halfway across the zone, and

STILL “in combat” lmao…

youd THINK once we’re that frikkin far from whatever it was we were fighting that they could program this game to break combat.

Guess its just funnier when we have to walk… lol

When my character gets stuck in combat I figure they’re proc’ing a 1000-yard stare and reliving some combat trauma as they ride off…

But yes, having ta’ walk the Mogadishu mile back to an inn, exit game, and then relog to clear it is a bit much.

relogging didnt help this time for some reason. finally got tired of it and logged into another alt.
Just running for the new faction renown for that cool lynx mount…nearly done.

Damn that sucks. I do exit the game entirely and then relog but I don’t know if I’ve tried just logging out.

I use that lynx mount for ground mount shenanigans

Those worms don’t give up. They camp u thru log off. Haven’t had one follow me to my garrison via hearth though.

Darn grabboids. Maybe they’re deep underground and ya gotta run off a cliff to kill 'em?

Watch out for mobs that appear sleeping. They might aggro for some reason and lock you into combat. Also mobs involved with attacking NPCs nearby will lock you into combat as well even though you never touched them. Killing them might drop the locked in combat status.

i miss being a rogue or NE for that.

one button to fix it

Killing them works, but FINDING the mob responsible is the problem.

Anything that is in combat with a player but not pathing toward them should automatically drop after 5 seconds.

Use your hearthstone.

Thank god my Druid is Nelf and my Rogue is a Rogue. I would’ve stopped doing that Incursion if not. It’s crazy that they just leave this stuff bugged out now. I’m pretty sure that Worldsoul Memory is still bugged.

lol…it happened again on the other alt. Evidently using my goblin glider can clear it too…didnt realize that all these years till now lol

that’s a way outta the chaos, true. but the reason i didn’t want to do that is that is 'cuz i had further business in that zone. so i opted to hop-skip-jump to the mole people’s village nearby, find an inn (somewhere safe-ish so i wouldn’t log back into combat with creatures murder-death-killing me), and then exit game.

oh that’s awesome. I wonder if it’s because the character has left the ‘flat land’ and entered deep into the Z axis, where the little mobs don’t dare tread?

laughs in fake death

but really im with ya, some mob agrros are really bull

something like that Im sure.
I was going to turn in one ofo the Sureki quests and hit the glider to get down to the NPC and noticed I wasnt in combat anymore.

This happened to me when I targeted a glitched mob in Azj-kahet. Logging out was the only way to get clear of them.

omg…doing that Nightfall thing…EVERY frkkng time it says “crap is happening” and everyone else gets to jump on their damned mount and fly to it while Im stuck in combat and by the time i get there ‘crap’ is dead. lol
this garbage is why keep defaulting to hunter so I at least have Feign Death.

It happens to me during the Nightfall daily in Azj-Kahet. And I’m usually done by that point. So I run and do the turn-in, then hearth.

First time I did it, I used my Dalaran hearth, just to make extra special sure that I wouldn’t still be in combat. I figured an entire continent away on a floating island should do the trick.

The glider usually works…but not always. That sinking feeling isn’t always just the glider going down. Sometimes it’s the realization that with all the wonderful jump off the cliff and hit glider points in Hallowfall, you’ve failed to lose aggro on the worm.

Haven’t had FD fail this expac, but I have in others.

It’s all in your head.

No, really.

You’re mentally in combat.

Whenever this happens to our characters, it’s because they’re having PTSD.

They cannot think of anything else, but the combat.
