Whats driving players from the game content to much grinding not enough to do its wierd many players just ghosting the game in the last month.
This isn’t really anything new, unfortunately. It’s a live service game. People come back for large updates, they do stuff, eventually get bored, leave, come back.
Not everyone comes back, obviously, but that’s the way the content works in a lot of MMOs.
What grind?
What grind?
What grind?
C-C-COMBO BREAKER!
Haha.
Op,
I’m waiting on my sub to run out. There are a few things that have made me dissatisfied with the game. The story and continuation of the story really isn’t there, so there really isn’t anything fun to do out in the open world. The crafting system sucks, so I gave up on that mess. And I’m tired of what they have done to the raiders. They made the rings and trinkets in the raids super rare (have never seen them drop at all) and they are allowing M+ players to again really outgear raiders, which has led to elitism and toxicity.
I have come to realize that Blizzard really only cares about their M+ crowd and are too worried about losing that crowd. They believe the rest of their player base will be satisfied with a once a month in-game shop.
it’s been happening for yrs nothing new . i will say its more noticable now when people do it cause there just ain’t that many people playing anymore and most guilds ain’t packed as they was in the past.
I agree I may be taking a break as well not a bad thing to let content build up and come back if it looks worthy.
What did your guild do?
You clearly are undergeared and hasn’t killed any raid boss. No PvP engagement as well.
So, what is the purpose of your guild? Exist for the sake of existing so you can quit and cry later?
It is terrible how there is only one guild in WoW and there are no others that you can join.
My guild is having a blast and we haven’t seen anyone jumping ship, just my personal experience.
Honestly from what I’m seeing the players in my guild seem to be embracing and enjoying how alt friendly this expansion is.
If your not into alts or running mythics ad nausea then I could see being dissatisfied tho.
Im 47 points away from KSM with 4 days left on my sub, procrastinating my choice between a +16 HoV or RLP rn.
I assume for the lot of us that skipped out early in SL we only came back to see if DF was good or not. For me, it’s mid. Not terrible but not great either. Just ok.
Depending on if my friends are still playing I might be back for 10.1, the last patch of the expac, or not at all.
Cause it’s world of Betacraft. People don’t want to pay for this crap.
Uggh…you pugged didnt you???
The one I’m in is doing A LOT better than shadowlands. Mostly casual old farts.
M+ is still an issue for that type of player. It’s just a mess. In BfA you could hard carry one or two players in a ten to get their weekly vault to help gear them.
Now it’s eight 10’s. Or 15’s, or 20’s? And it’s not just a bad run that didn’t time now. It’s a frustrating hard fail for no credit after an hour of wipes.
You want to aim for 8 20’s if you’re minmaxing but a vanishingly small amount of the playerbase is accomplishing this.
As an R Druid main I would say healers ability to carry drops off a cliff around +13 imo, especially during Tyrannical weeks.
My guild is growing. Maybe your problems aren’t the game….
Funny, they must have joined ours.
Things can start to fall apart around 9’s if you have raid loggers that don’t run the dungeons a lot.
Dungeons have just gotten more brutal and unpredictable with all these random things that can converge with a sympathetic resonance to sink a run.
