Half an Epic Mounts Worth of Gold Per Week

I’m out. Even if you fix it tomorrow, I’m still out. I’ve seen how this is gonna go for the rest of Anniversary. Your delayed action and silence on the issue speaks volumes to what I can expect moving forward.

I’m done, gg!

What’s wrong, you don’t like a stack of Elixir of the Mongoose for 100g?

Flasks for 500g?

Those a reasonable prices!

Insane consume prices and ultra picky raids was solidified the second they banned GDKPs.

How did people think they were gonna get gold?

Why would people think they could get raid spots without full consumes with GDKPs banned? There are like 1/2 the amount of raids if it wasn’t banned.

I’m pro-GDKP, but consumes would be the same cost.

They could be, or a bit more, or a bit less - but it wouldn’t matter because you could farm 1000g payout in a 1h MC

It was always a fact that unless someone plays full-time, they need GDKPs or to swipe to raid or pvp properly.

I guess, but that’s not exactly a good thing for the game.

The problem is there’s 27,000 raiders on one server. And that’s just raiders.

nah that’s not a problem.

The problem is good players will do their closed raids and never open it up. All the raids will be picky, and plenty of players like me didn’t even bother with anniversary because we knew we had to swipe to play after GDKP ban.

I don’t want to swipe so I knew anniversary wasn’t for me.

It literally is a problem. A completely lopsided supply/demand model.

can I have your remaining gold so I can flask for my parsing speedrunning top 5 warcraft log runs tonight?

The demand for flasks is ALWAYS way higher than supply.

The fix is that most raids don’t need flasks - but if there are more demand for raids then slots, what ends up happening is people buy flasks to get a little edge (and thus a raid slot in future).

In anniversary you have like 50,000 mid-pack parsers trying to compete for like 20k raid slots, and as the raids just slightly increase in difficulty (numbers made up but you get the point)

How much should it cost to raid? What’s a reasonable cost for ~30 buffs to kill Lucifron in <30 seconds?

You act like there’s a finite number of raid spots.

This is not a binary scenario. Degrees matter, and in the case of Anniversary, the lopsided ratio of demand vs supply is higher than ever.

Because the gold farmers control the supply of both the flowers and gold.

Players gave up all control because they were afraid of GDKPs.

I hope blizzard does nothing about the flowers because this is 100% a fault of players support micromanaging of community. Ban the system that allows carriers to benefit, then wonder why it is so expensive to get into raids.

There is. And banning GDKP cuts it in half or more.

This tells me all I need to know about your intelligence.

Have a nice day.

You are really going to claim there is a infinite number of raid spots?

The number of players is finite lil bro.

But more importantly, the number of competent players is even smaller. And even smaller is number of players that can organize and lead a raid.

Raid spots is 100% finite and is a function of raid leads + competent players not total players. Banning GDKPs destroys the amount of available raid leads and competent players because they don’t want to deal with SR-players.

Hello Frosstfire

The main driver of the lotus flask price isn’t simply just “too many people want flasks and there aren’t enough lotuses”.

The price is being controlled by gold sellers who are hoarding hundreds of lotuses who constantly buy out the ah to reset the price significantly higher.

The lotus supply is low enough that they can easily do this. And so many buy gold that when they reset the price at a higher mark, RMT’ers will just continue to buy.

So many think the bots are just picking all the lotuses. Some do but most of the gold farmers just wait for players to pick a few and list them on the ah, then they buy them all out and reset the price or hoard to relist later.

As of 14:35 (PST), Black Lotus on Dreamscythe are going for

A: 99 - 129G (x151)
H: 83 - 84G (x63)

Thought about doing business on Dreamscythe so I could just import BL from hardcore, then trade Dreamscythe gold to Nightslayer but I doubt the gold per hour is there when I transform the gold to Nightslayer
