This is why we haven’t received a new model for a playable race since BFA; modern blizzard is not very good at creating for a game, just reskinning existing game (in this case, poorly).

Thanks, just another example of “new, improved” content, where payers are typically pretty gushy about customizations and die on the hill that they are important, but then when their beloved blizzard drops the ball, crickets. 
Ears clipping through hair isn’t that big of a deal because hair is made up of a bunch of individual strands. It would be conceivable for ears to poke out of hair.
Armor clipping into models is way more offensive.

There are MANY legitimate complaints about wow and blizz, but this isn’t one of them.
