Had to share my Lucky Camel Day

I have been searching (fairly infrequently) since Cata for the Mysterious Camel Figurine. So this time I thought, be systematic, so I downloaded the Camel Finder add on and set up tomtom for it.

I took my DH to old world Uldum today to gather some mats, and turned on the camel finder to show me spawn points as I farmed. Amazingly the popup came on telling me there was a figurine nearby. Clicked on it and…the event started! I’d found it!

So years later, I not only ended up with a Grey Riding Camel, it was also my last required mount to get the No Stable Big Enough achieve and get my Frostshard Infernal.

It’s been a good WoW day. :grinning:

Congratulations! I remember flying around in circuits that expac. Never got lucky. Maybe I’ll try that addon someday.

And a five minute flight around Uldum once or twice a week is barely wasting time when you can farm mats to sell on the AH while you’re doing it.

You make 200k gold in 8 hours of farming? Yikes that’s pretty crazy. But I give you props for being able to do that.

I’m not sure though why you felt it was needed to come in to a “Feel good” thread and rain on their parade. Every post was positive, except yours heh

I didn’t actually spend that much time. As I said, it was fairly infrequent and only when I was in the area for other things. Checking a spot on the map while farming for some ore is no different from simply farming for some ore.

And unless I’m mistaken you can’t buy or sell it. It’s a BoP item.

But thanks for the…kind…words.

Because some people derive pleasure from putting others down. Shrugs It’s a human condition I guess, if a sad one.
