Had an actual bot signup and play in my yolo rbg group

I was running some yolo rated bgs on alts and got really desperate for a final body. Got some random 220ish ilvl druid in sign up so I invite him. He joins, and I queue for the rbg. Everyone accepts but him. Queue again and it takes him 20 seconds and he finally accepts.

We zone in. He whispers “Just tell me where to go, boss”. I say go sit mines. He completely ignores me and everyone else in the BG continuously runs off only spamming wrath and regrowth, nothing else.

Me and my friends suspect it’s an actual bot and we report for botting. Next day we all get in-game mail from Blizz saying they banned someone for cheating/exploiting due to our reports.

Never realized people botted rated stuff like that. Doesn’t really seem worth it. Spamming actual random BGs for hours seems better.

Also what makes me laugh is how fast they banned this guy. Which means they clearly read or observe the reports meanwhile literal BlazingBoost workers can RMT boost for months on fresh shadowlands accounts with multiple reports and nothing happens lol.

I meant like using a bot to farm honor/conq in a rated setting. Not kickbotting while actually playing the game.

I’m convinced literally 60% of ppl in random bgs are bots

Maybe 2/3s of the locks in high end rbgs mop/wod were probably botters, fly hackers and/or ddossers.

yeah it’s been proven several times their disciplinary system is completely automated then your case is reviewed if it is appealed.

Considering one of the best bots used to be free back in those days, and they genuinely did not care, it has definitely gotten way better.
