Like how is this possible? I heard stories on the forums but thought people were just being dramatic. No dialogue, just load in, 2 seconds and kicked?
How are you even able to kick ppl this fast?
I’m pretty salty because the deserter debuff is 30 mins?
I’d move this and ask in CS. Someone may be able to shed some light on what happened, because that doesn’t sound like a kick.
There is a delay before you can kick anyone from a dungeon.
But I’ve received the debuff when the dungeon borks and kicks everyone due to an instance server hiccup. So it could be something like that.
Guess I am going there next.
I did think there would be things in place to make it so things like this can’t happen simply because its so senseless.
Oh Im sure someone kicked them, people are petty and impatient. Ive been kicked because people said I was AFK due to the game taking too long to load me into a dungeon.

You can’t kick someone upon immediately entering a dungeon. There’s a cooldown. I think it’s one minute. OP was immediately booted out with a debuff. So I think there’s something else going on.
yes you can, the loading time counts towards that timer. so if it took you 60sec to load into the dungeon, they can immediately kick you from the dungeon.
Ive had slow loading days and seen the chat comments before, after getting a double loading screen, one to get into the dungeon and one to deposit me back into the world with a deserter debuff.
It just happened twice in a row.
Even if ppl are toxic, there is no way it would be this consistent.
trust me, people in this game are impatient and petty. so a sample size of two doesnt really offer proof to the contrary.
It’s not that quick of a timer. And he said it only took a couple of seconds to load.
If he had said he was having issues with loading into the instance, then maybe. But even then, cooldown on kicking isn’t over that fast.

telling the truth is “causing drama” apparently. Blizzard can state things that are clearly untrue all the like, doesnt make them true when I know from experience its a lie.

you quoted something from Blizzard, I know to be a lie. Ive had experienced this numerous times in my time with this game, and with the random dungeon finder.
You can’t get kicked immediately there is I believe a 5 min -you can’t kick me timer in play , but yeah if you however leave the group before 15 mins or before the first boss falls , you get a deserter.
takes couple minutes to load. see in chat “kick shaman, they are afk”, followed by another loading screen and a message “You have been removed from group.”
Apparently the 5 minute cant kick me timer simply doesnt apply to me, personally.
People can make assumptions or quote blizzard til their blue in the face. I know for a solid fact, from experience of how things actually work.
Did you get deserter or did you get the Q cooldown?
They are separate timers.
It says I deserted and gave me a 30 min timer both times.
I am giving the game a break now as I am pissed off.
Deserter=30min debuff
Queue kick=10min debuff upon being removed from an instance but not vote kicked.
Which timer you got cause if the later server might have borked.
