Did you or any of your characters find BfA distasteful? Did you pass on Shadowlands ICly… or entirely? Are you curiously or, perhaps, cautiously optimistic about Dragonflight?
Shipwrecked is a guild/community concept well-suited to returning players or characters that have gotten dusty. The backdrop it provides is loose yet rich in storytelling and RP potential.
The full backstory isn’t written, we’re saving that for collaboration. The basic thing of it is:
We had a boat – now, we don’t.
We are the crew and passengers of a ship that crashed prior to The Battle for the Undercity. Stranded on a chain of islands, we missed the war and following journey to heaven, hell and vampire land.
Like many sea-faring groups in WoW, we were and are not bound by faction.
That said, cross-faction play and RP will, of course, be optional!
There's so much potential for old and new characters
- The ship’s navigator, cook, a deckhand, medic, etc.
- A merchant who lost everything
- A heartbroken mercenary who fell for their now-missing employer
- An outlaw who hid from the law at sea, now locked to the land
- A San’layn who slumbered in a marble coffin, which we found washed up on a nearby island
- An Astromancer who unironically says “…all I ever wanted to do was study!” (please don’t)
- A treasure hunter, still convinced they’ll find their prize
- A mage who died in the wreck and is now a ghost (and is keeping that fact a secret)
- The drummer of a Goblin rock band
- A crew member who has been on the boat since the events of WotLK or earlier
- A new friend encountered while collecting supplies on islands
- You know you have loads of ideas!
Me? I’m told I was a passenger who kept mostly to herself… but I can’t remember anything.

Shipwrecked will be casual and all-hours. So far, we’re late nighters on most days and daytime interest will round that out. We probably won’t make it back to major cities IC until the end of 9.2.5. If you’re not subbed but you’re interested, you can still take part in Discord.
We’d like chill, independent people who want to explore some storylines together, Discord RP, casual events, casual M+ and collecting etc.
We’ll do multiple guilds if there’s interest (we’re currently on H-WrA and A-MG) and have a WoW Community – you don’t have to leave your guild… perhaps you’re trying to find your way back to them
