About us:
The Praetorian Guard (TPG) is a newly formed, end game focused, weekend raiding guild which was formed at the end of Battle for Azeroth. We are big on having fun on raid nights, while still mastering mechanics. Our guild is primarily composed of players who are in their late 20s, or older, who have a laid-back mentality, but still want to progress on Mythic content. When we’re not raiding, we enjoy pushing mythic dungeon keys, doing arenas and other PVP, as well as other in-game shenanigans (old school raids/achievement runs, alt raids, etc.).
What we are looking for:
Casual players, raiders, m+ players, and PVPers.
Raid Times:
Saturday/Sunday; 1 pm - 4 pm Server Time/CT
(2 pm - 5 pm ET ; 11 am - 2pm PT)
- We will have one weekend off approximately every 4 weeks to help our raiders stay recharged and have time for IRL stuff. Depending on interest, an off night alt raid or other regularly scheduled content (i.e. rated battlegrounds) may be scheduled on these weekends.

Previous mythic raiding experience is preferred but not required to join this guild as it is a fresh opportunity for everyone involved. All we ask is you have a willingness to learn how to play your class and be competitive for your role. We are always happy to work with you on log reviews, sharing resources, and overall tips for improvement, just reach out!
Simply put, the goal of every tier will be to push as far into Mythic raiding as we can with an ultimate of achieving Cutting Edge (CE). The speed at which we progress will be directly proportional to our growth as a team.
As far as completing objectives ( i.e. dungeons, raid bosses, even quests). We will help you do that as long as you are able to listen, learn, and grow. We expect everyone to be treated equally and fair as we wish to keep a welcoming guild for all new and experienced players!
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- At least one raid ready character
- One alt that you would like to play
- Must have viable off-spec
- Must be able to commit to 85% of our scheduled raid times
- Must own microphone and are able to speak without horrible feedback
- If not already on Illidan (US) you must transfer
- Must Download and maintain required add-ons

By joining our guild as a core raider, you are joining our community and become a representative of our guild. This community is centered around respecting your fellow raiders and guildmates. This includes being punctual, coming prepared to guild raids, maintaining your character’s gear, having a demonstrated proficiency of your class and spec. In short, all raiders are required to keep their raiding characters competitive. We also expect our raiders to handle challenges (i.e. issues with downing a boss, dealing with unruly pugs, disagreements with other guildies) maturely. We get it, mistakes happen, things can be improved, or someone may just be having an off day, the way we learn from that is through communication. We always encourage constructive dialogue in the appropriate forum, we will always get better through our collective experience.
Here in Praetorian Guard, we understand that things happen in real life, and it will always come first. Just keep us in the loop as you are able to.
All BOE’s from raid, excluding upgrades that are immediately equipped (subject to verification), will be sold by the Guild Bank Manager (GBM) and 15% will be deposited in the guild bank. The GBM will sell the item on your behalf and send you the remaining 85%. This gold helps fund all amenities* which include: guild repairs, flasks, potions, food, enchants, and gems. Amenities will begin during the shadowlands raids, and are subject to availability based on the guild’s current end game progression.
For those who are interested, scheduled gambling sessions will be held between raid pulls, with a small percentage of the winnings going to the guild bank. Average rolls are between 10-20k.
