[H] <Stormhowl Clan> - Storm Home has fallen!

Just bumping this. Tonight the clan is starting a mini-story arc that will be feeding directly into our major story arc. The final event for the mini-arc will be the kick off point to the main story, which will feature 3 separate chains that are weaved together.

So now would be a great time to check out the clan, see what we’re about and get in on the ground floor for the next chapter in Stormhowl’s history.

Site is undergoing an overhaul. The updated version will be revealed after the 28th as some of the changes will be part of the stories.

We’re not doing a big story arc this time, just several mini-arcs as we focus on getting the clan settled, get our new bloods moving and integrated and generally making everyone feel not only like they’re in the clan but are taking part in a crucial moment in the clan’s history as we move into a new era.

So my pve guild left the server and I am in need of a new home. Was already thinking of something along these lines. I would love to check it out. Right now im gearing this guy up.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully Stormhowl can be your new refuge. Feel free to look us up in game next time you’re online. Or ping me on discord.

10 out of 10 zugs would recommend.

The Kosh’harg had begun as it always had, full of action and in good company. Various other tribes, clans and groups all gathered to join in the action and honoring of the Spirits along side Stormhowl. Pups waited and played around the Beastmasters, waiting to choose their new partners among the crowd. The smell of food and drinks filled the festivities as merchants called out to entice those who would listen to come closer and take a look.

As the festival carried on and joy filled the spirits of those present, maybe even encouraging some fun filled smack talk among the event participates, the veterans of Stormhowl suddenly feel their bonds to the Patrons vanish. Morzog and Tree’flit shared glances of confusion with each others, masking the concern in their hearts. They took a moment to flag down Vuraka, who waved off their concerns. Perhaps out of arrogance, perhaps out of fear, she assured them that it just meant they needed to honor the Patrons more in this Kosh’harg, but quietly to herself, the chieftain tried to convince herself that it was only that. Advising her trusted mate and friend to carry on with the Kosh’harg and to not worry the new blood who have joined them or worry the guests of the other clans with the concerns.

The Kosh’harg continued on without any hiccups. The champion of the Kosh’harg was named, Zula’zolk. Many pups have new partners now in the forms of Dosaruu, Akaragosh, Llahk, Squigs, Skarig. As the Stormhowl were cleaning up and getting ready to return to the ships, a hawk came flying towards them in frightening speed. As it drew closer, the clan grew more confused. The hawk was burned and just barely had enough feathers to fly with. As it got closer to the ground, it became a Kaldorei woman, seemingly uncaring that they were in Mulgore. She was dressed in feather adored leather outfits, but the entire right side of her body was horrifically burned, bleeding and oozing yellow puss under the blackened skin. She ran to them as best she could, limping, yelling out in broken orcish “Storm Howl… Chief…” Over and over again until she collapsed to the ground. Tree’flit reached her first as the others gather around. Vuraka spoke that she was the chieftain and demanded to know what the druid wanted.

With what little strength the elf had, she raised her unburned hand, clutching a teal feather, one suspiciously like the one the clan Archduid had always worn in her mane. In gasping, broken orcish, the Elf spoke “Storm… Storm… Home… has… Fallen… Sent… to… w….” But her last words were left incomplete, as the light in her remaining eye faded and she collapsed to stillness in Tree’flit’s arms, the feather floated gently into the mud. Her last breath, spent to bare a message to those she did not know.

Stormhome has fallen…

That’s right. Storm Home, aka Conquest Hold, the clan’s den for over two years now, has fallen. Grizzly Hills is no longer Stormhowl territory. The fall of Storm Home took place while the bulk of the clan was away celebrating the Kosh’harg. This came after many plans for a major story arc. The plans ended with a smaller arc that will have a heart wrenching finale. In turn, it will feed into three smaller arcs as the clan starts to rebuild. The finale will be RPed out this Saturday.

The clan is in RP limbo right now, existing in a post-Storm Home but pre-story arc plans timeline. This week we’ll be working on readjusting the infrastructure and inner workings of the clan, preparing game plans for new and old members alike and preparing to hit the ground running in this new chapter of Stormhowl history.

To mark this revamp, the website is going through an overhaul. All of the information is being updated and reorganized so that the website is up to date and much easier to navigate. It will also show the clan’s new directives and plans, and all other relevant information that will be able either directly from the main page or within two or three clicks. No more digging around for forum posts or trying to figure out what’s important and what’s not.

To recap. This week we’ll be focusing on revitalizing the clan oocly. This weekend will be a big finale on Saturday and the start of a new chapter and a few smaller story arcs on Sunday with our Landfall event. The 28th will be the big reveal for our plans moving forward.

More information will be given at that time! The main post here will be updated to reflect that information.

In the meantime, if you wish to see the old site information go to stormhowl .com, scroll over the ‘main’ option, click ‘forums’.

Are you guys still active and accepting new members?

Yes, we are! Been fighting Blizzard to get the main post here updated.

Is the clan still up and going?

We’re back after a hiatus. Going to spend this week taking care of some admin stuff in updating the info here, the clan’s infrastructure, combat system and other internal work. Next week we’ll be focusing on getting in game activity back up. The goal is to have the guild going again by early February.
