[H-RP] Yingsu Village: Wyrmrest Accord

Yīngsù Village lies hidden in the mountains of Pandaria, South of Kun Lai, West of the Jade Forest, and North of the Valley of the Four Winds. It is a rocky, windswept and remote place, where few crops grow and the nights are cold.

Like rubbish blown in the wind, drifters, thieves and renegades have made their way to the Village over the centuries, and calling it their home. To survive, they offer their services, ever discreetly, to the towns and cities below, trading knife-work and smuggling for rice and solitude.

Whether by birth or adoption, the inhabitants of this secret place are members of a family. A family with customs, which must be obeyed, for the safety of the town and its people. For life in Yīngsù Village is frail and fleeting, but made stronger by bonds of blood and deed.

Yīngsù Village is a year and a half old now, and we’ve grown and thrived since the start of BFA! We’re a roleplay guild on Hordeside Wryrmest Accord, devoted interpersonal story, based on themes of interdependence, honor, crime and ethics. We are inspired loosely by legends of Ninja and Brigand villages in Japan and throughout Asia, who were said to have eked out a living in remote, barren places, and survived by the sword and subterfuge when they could not grow enough food or command enough respect.

We welcome mature, even-keeled roleplayers who have a strong distinction between In-Character and Out-Of-Character, who are willing to engage in stories that explore the hearts and minds of criminals, good and bad. Our goal is to present players with challenging, morally difficult situations, and to reward them with an impactful, emotional payoff. With a strong “Play to Lose” mentality, we recognize that the best tales often have sad endings, but are more memorable for it, and that power comes at a great cost.

We have a low-key, friendly OOC culture and have a robust sense of humor. We run weekly tavern nights, weekly “crime nights” (official RP events), and both players and staff are allowed to run their own events, so long as they loosely adhere to the guild’s theme.

Oh, darn. Your group is Horde. Got me hopeful, for a moment.

Best of luck!

Jadepaw Dynasty is good people Ally-side and has a lot of similar themes!

I’ve heard good things!

If you are looking to rp a Pandaren there are neutral communities & events. Including some hosted by Yingsu Village. You don’t even need an addon. We all speak Pandaren

As a correction - the neutral events were hosted by Steelpaw Shao’din, we just had some Yingsu people showing up. When I do host events I try not to say they are hosted by Yingsu outwardly IC as the Yingsu are an underground, criminal organization.

Bump! The village is always looking for more faces!

Bump; sometimes it’s crime, sometimes it’s leisure - but at Yingsu Village, it’s the more the merrier!

Bumping as well. Looking to pick up on things next week after I take my big exam (wish me luck!).

Guess what? It’s a bump! Yingsu’s next story arc is going to be starting soon after a holiday break - now is an ideal time to hop in for a new wild ride.

Bumping again. We recently had a holiday hiatus, but things are already picking back up. <:

Bump! We have just concluded a story arc and moved to another. Now’s a great time to join and experience a brand new story!

Giving this another bump since we are kicking things back up after a small hiatus. Look around for things to start getting active again next week! <:

Oh, nice sounds interesting. I’m actually horde, so i may check this out.

Bumping this again because I’m hopefully going to run an event tonight. The only thing that would be stopping me is being on the outskirts of the bomb cyclone heading through the states. o:

Is it Pandaren exclusive?

It is not. We just mechanically want to keep everyone Horde so that we can organize raid parties with rolls and markers. :>

When the Zul’s traitor fleet of Zandalari invaded Pandaria, they never dared assault the Yingsu.

They were just that badass.

That post made me slowly become excited for a guild that’d fit Raion perfectly… Then I saw it was horde and it was all crushed XD. If I decide to pick back up rping on Horde over on WMA, are you guys still recruiting? Also if Saberon ever join the horde, I will say I will probably remake my character as that and start over <_< I dont mind the extra work to do that as long as the guild is okay with it.
