“We are the Horde. Together we stand as strong as a mountain, for it is together that we have endured those whose tides would seek to erode us into gravel. Only to erupt against their attempts, time and time again, stronger than before.”
“Once, we lived only by the words Victory or Death, but now we fight for Blood and Honor… for what purpose does a glorious death serve if it means we leave alone those who need us? Those defenseless souls who rely on our swords, axes, staves, shields, and bows to ensure they never have to see and know the horrors that we do.”
“Our times of joy… our times of misery… we cannot share them all. However, we will shoulder them together however we can because, in the Horde, no man, woman, or child stands alone! Because… we are not just soldiers; we are family. Let us never forget that.”

What is Unity of the Horde?
The Unity of the Horde is a Heavy RP Horde-loyal Military Guild on Moon-Guard (US) themed around being a small but elite Military Battalion that attends to whatever business the Horde Council needs them to. Whether it’s taking care of minor “annoyances” in Horde Territory or facing off against more significant threats to the Horde’s well-being or stability, be it within or without. It is led by a Tribunal of Warlords, Warlord Sinora Bloodrose, Warlord Ama’nathas Bloodrose, and Warlord Chrorrith, who stand on equal footing with one another as commanders who seek the best interests of those under their command and that of the Horde.
In Unity of the Horde (or Unity/UotH for short), we hope to encourage an open OOC atmosphere where people can speak freely. A close community of friends who can be themselves — even if we won’t/don’t always agree and get into a heated discussion, we should always remain civil and friends at the end of the day. Anyone can run events, be they a member of the Tribunal, an Officer, or a Member — though we’d like you to get past the baseline “Scout” rank before you attempt to do so!
Planning is in the works to have a casual in-character social night every other week, then chaotic RP-PvE missions (hopefully) every week, and an overarching Guild Storyline that players can invest themselves into and use as a means for character development further to deepen the bonds of the Unity’s members. (<- Though we are a Horde Military, it’s our members’ bonds and personal stories/arcs that we really want to make shine! Fighting is fun, but at the end of the day, these characters are also people under all that armor and trauma!)
With the “Dragonflight” expansion, the Unity of the Horde will be taking on missions to explore the mysterious Dragon Isles along with whatever challenges the newly discovered lands may present. This includes welcoming the freshly awakened “Dracthyr” people into their ranks to promote relations with the Horde’s newest allies, albeit on a case-by-case basis dependent on a player’s commitment to their Dracthyr character, as there are still those who are uncertain of their fealty (ICly) due to old grudges against Dragonkind or simple personal ethics of “time-earned trust” and such.
Is Unity of the Horde involved in Moon Guard Server Groups or Events?
Yes, we are involved with other large-scale server groups, such as the Coalition of the Horde, and server events like Warcraft: Conquest. We may still be growing, but we want to leave as much RP opportunity as possible open to our members; we’re here to promote Horde growth, not tie you to us.
What is the mentality of Unity of the Horde?
The Unity of the Horde embraces honor, family, and diplomacy before aggression. Much like Thrall’s Warcraft 3 Horde, they only bear their arms when necessary; such as when backstabbed or when communications wholly break down. Yet this doesn’t mean they want the memory of the Old Horde to be forgotten, either, for history will be repeated if it is never remembered. Those who the Old Horde has hurt will never forget what was done to them, but they can be shown how much better the New Horde will be.
Recruitment into Unity of the Horde
The Unity of the Horde is a Horde Battalion, so any race that has taken an oath under the Horde banner is more than welcome to enlist. Its Tribunal adopts the belief that it is the Horde’s very diversity that has made it so strong. Be it the sheer strength of its Orcs, the cunning of the Trolls, the wisdom of the Tauren, the tenacity of the Forsaken, the magical talents of the Blood Elves, or the resourcefulness of the Goblins. The Allied Races are no exemptions from this belief, either.
Are Alliance Races allowed if they’re Horde loyal?
We’re seeking anyone whose character is willing to give their all to fight for the Horde’s best interests! So yes, the Tribunal has agreed that even Alliance races are permitted among our ranks but will face a long path of earning their colleagues’ respect and be expected to renounce all ties to the Alliance at the end of their trial period. Though we live under an Armistice, the factions are still separate and act in their best interests as such.
Will I be required to wear a Uniform ICly?
No, that is not in our current planning. Aside from the fact it can be very difficult to obtain a uniform-looking set for everyone (Plate, Mail, Leather, and Cloth), uniforms can strip away a character’s sense of individuality, and that is not something we want to encourage. We might consider uniform transmogs for special/specific occasions where we want to look as “fancy” as possible (Diplomatic Summits, Guild Faires, etc.), but you will not be expected to do so on a daily basis.
Is UotH just an RP Guild? Or is there content, too?
Roleplay is and always will be intended to be our primary focus. However, we are also a community with many members who enjoy WoW’s content, so if a member is interested in doing X type of content (Leveling, PvE, Transmog runs, etc.) and inquire about such in chat, it’s likely to get a response from others who’ll assist with it.
OOC requirements include:
- Being over the age of 18. (For the comfort and safety of our members, we are an adult Guild)
- Joining our Guild’s Discord. Most communication occurs within this space, as well as critical announcements and such, it’s pretty standard for people to have/use Discord now, but it still felt appropriate to include this.
- A certain level of activity. If you’re offline for more than three months without a given reason, you’re likely to be removed to avoid Guild Bloat. (AKA Please don’t place an alt in the Guild and never log onto said character again it makes us very sad)
IC requirements include:
- Your character must be Horde loyal! There’s nothing wrong with getting along with Neutral parties or even having a certain level of respect for the Alliance, but Unity of the Horde is specifically a Horde Military Battalion that serves the needs of the Horde with pride!
- If your character is a rebellious type, expect them to butt heads with the leadership and likely have consequences for said behavior! (We don’t mind these sorts of characters OOCly, but our characters certainly will ICly)
How do I join?
You only need to reach out to one of the members of the Tribunal in-game or over Discord or, better yet, join our Guild’s Discord and post an application — after you’ve had a look at the Rules (Both OOC and IC). Once your application is approved, you will speak with a member of the Tribunal OOCly to arrange an IC recruitment.
