The drums of war once more sound within our halls, echoing from our deepest chambers. Our livelihoods have once more been threatened by many a foe. The enemy lay closer than ever, for they stand not only in the lust of battle, but as supposed, ‘brethren’, within our walls. Tensions grow with each rising sun, and we the children of war have begun doubting those which we’ve promised to rely on, due to politics, beliefs, and a long-drawn xenophobia. It is this very hostility between allies, which birthed a council of a new era, one whose proclaimed themselves, Warbound!
W A R B O U N D: The Horde Experience!
The Warbound Council is a militant order which is lead not by a singular Warlord, or Chief, but rather by a war council of eight. Each member of the council is not only that of a different race, but a prideful representative of their people. He, or she who holds a seat within the council provides promise of unity between their people and the Horde. Each councilmen is held on an equal platform of authority, all of them baring a racial appropriate high-rank within the order. They all provide not only wisdom of their people, but the dedicatication of several leadership-originated skills to assist in training recruits, and serving in the heat of battle. While this method is in fact unique compared to the majority of military orders, and factions, it’s main purpose is to take pride in the races of the Horde, and unite them under the same banner, while honoring, and keeping true to each culture.
If you choose to become Warbound, you must prove yourself as a competent member of the Horde, before you may officially represent your culture and people during active duty! The journey from Grunt to Champion is one not crafted for the weak of heart, the undevoted, or those who’ve forsaken their cultures. You must uphold pride, passion, and kinship at all times.
THE WARBOUND COUNCIL: AN ACTIVE COMMUNITY!
We’re a heavy-roleplaying guild who also takes PvP/PVE fairly seriously as well! Every member must be a roleplayer in order to access any of our content-related activities, meaning we won’t accept those who solo do content. That being said, depending on the content, we may separate those who are more casual from those who are into serious progression. We believe mixing content and roleplay is a wonderful and fun recipe. Due to our competitive nature, we’re very active as an OOC community. Discord is mandatory, and voice is often used over text, however, voice itself is not mandatory. We hold to the idea that a guild which plays together, stays together!
OUR MISSION: A MISSION POSSIBLE!
COMMUNITY : We’ve come to Moonguard Horde understanding that the community here is rather low populated compared to that of Alliance! However, we saw this as an opportunity to not only assist in building it up, but create an atmosphere to inspire others to perhaps focus on Horde-Moonguard again! Of course, that is not a mission which can be done over right, or soley by us, but it is something we will continue to strive for.
ROLEPLAY: We want nothing more than to provide our members, as well as the server a quality, and lore friendly experience! We take high pride in not only recognizing Blizzard canon, but honoring the effort which is put into it. Despite having strict rules against elitism, we do find upholding lore of great importance to our atmosphere. We TRULY wish to give people a STRONG Horde experience, for what the Horde has been written to be.
RP-PVP: We view the population difference of MG Alliance, versus that of Horde as an opportunity to partake in the true nature of RP/PVP! We hope to eventually carry out storylines which put us in the midst of battle against REAL Alliance players and guilds! Once more, adding to our roleplaying vision of being what the Horde truly is!
YOU: Yes, you! You’re very much part of our mission as well! What is a guild for? Certainly not a place for extra stress. We’re here to help provide you an outlet to relax and be creative on! A community which you can rely on to cheer up your cloudy days. We don’t simply want you to log on and feel bored, we want you apart of a close-knit community which hangs out even on slow days, or during less-than-favorable expansions!
