<H RP Event> The Great Hunt 2021!

Greetings, Wyrmrest Accord! Summertime is upon us and despite the passing of peculiar times and new ones dawning on us, it is time to return to one annually held on the server.

That’s right, the Great Hunt returns this year and promises to be our biggest one yet. I mean that literally as well. This July, join us in the Plaguelands of Eastern Kingdom as the hunters are set upon the undead and ravaged masses of BOTH Eastern and Western Plaguelands. Steel your heart and soul as you contend against enemies both new and old, forces otherworldly, and much more during our week long hunt.

Everyone is invited on this four day grand hunt against the biggest, baddest, and most epic encounters that roam and stalk the scarred landscape of the Plaguelands. The event will start on the 25th (Sunday) where we will finalize teams and make announcements and hear stories from the hunt masters about the creatures that lurk within this dangerous hunting ground. July 26th, 27th, 29th, and 30th will be the main event, featuring our days of hunting game both small and large as our hunters compete for fame and glory. Wednesday the 28th will be a day of reprieve for the hunters to collect themselves, rest, and tell stories of their hunts. All events will start at approximately 5:00 PM Server Time.

At the close of the hunt on the final day, the points will be tallied and the winners decided. There will be two winning teams this year, one for the server at large and a winner among the Shadowtusk. Each participant who is crowned the winner will receive the title of Huntmaster and be awarded 200,000 gold each. For gold and glory, join us in July!

I can add this to the LFRP Community’s event calendar as soon as I can get some concrete start times and locations on each date. Either that or someone can join the community and post the events themself. Looking forward to another one of these!

Start times will be at 5:00 PM ST on July 25th, 26th, 27th, 29th, and 30th! Start location will be the Light’s Hope Chapel on Sunday and Monday with various sanctuaries being the start location on all other days.

It’s Hunt Month, woo! We’re still looking for interested DMs- as someone who’s DMed and attended various Great Hunts over the years, the encounters are incredible and incredibly-designed, and the more DMs we have the more attendees we’ll be able to accommodate!

I’ve been to one of these in the past, and they are really good! I’d definitely recommend others to try it as well. The amount of time commitment is high though, so for those who are busy, that would be one of the only drawbacks I saw out of it. o:

The Great Hunt kicks off soon!! We’re still looking for DMs. Even if you’re nervous about DMing, trust me the encounters are extremely well-written, and folks are always happy to clarify any mechanics! Give it a shot, you won’t regret it!
