[H] (RP Event) Pro-Sylvanas Horde Communion Sunday March 31st at 4pm

Members of the Horde! We have many who still speak out against the Dark Lady based on her actions! We don’t have the authority to bring them to justice, but we can still inspire others to join our cause. Warchief Sylvanas does what she does to better the Horde. If it weren’t for her, we’d be in more trouble now than we were before! That fool Saurfang knows nothing of true honor! So I ask you, join us at this Communion!

We must stand united! We already have one enemy in our wake! We don’t need more in our ranks! With the arrest of Baine Bloodhoof, we have made it clear that we have no tolerance for weakness and traitors amongst us! For the Horde!

Date and Time:
Sunday, March 31 at 4:00pm realm time

Location:
Thunder Bluff; Hunter Rise. The reason it is there is because it is a show of force. We have taken the tauren traitor captive and are using their city as a sign that WE are here and WE aren’t going anywhere. The Tauren are still our allies, but any who stand with Baine are not to be seen as such.

Who is invited
All Horde Guilds who are Pro-Sylvanas. If your character is neutral, you are also invited to sit in on the talks, but please keep from causing a debate and be respectful. This is an event for our guilds to come together with like minds and form alliances within. To my friendly guilds, please be respectful to those in attendance who may or may not be 100% for Sylvanas yet. This event is to bolster what we already have and inspire those who are on the fence. As each guild goes up to tell their tale, they will drop their banner on one of the many stumps and speak their backstory, why they are for Sylvanas, and a short snippet as to why we must continue to strive to defend her actions at all costs.

I hope to see you all there. For the Horde!!

Wooooah, that’s kinda mean. I love it XD

Good luck with the event! Sarestha here has lowkey turned on Sylvanas ever since the Derek Proudmoore incident, but she’s not exactly advertising it to anyone. As such I doubt she’d show up. But I hope the event goes well! The political turmoil in the Horde’s RP is becoming quite fascinating to watch!

Thank you for your support! We just had an awesome RP guild faire turnout. Hopefully we’ll get the same here with this one.

This is a very interesting concept that I hope works out and has a lot of people attend. I rarely see people staying loyal to the Horde anymore and just outright leaving or something else.

My characters are not fighting because they are evil or genocidal, they are fighting for their family, homes and livlihoods because that is what this war is about now- no matter what Sylvanas has done. They won’t go kill innocents, but they very well will fight enemy forces to ensure safety for their kin.

Anyway, I hope I can attend! I will have to look at my work schedule.

I hope you can attend as well. Aelrindel doesnt 100% agree with her motives, but he supports a Horde rule with his guild. He knows that if she dies, then so does the Horde, and with that so does Quel’Thalas. He wishes there was another way but he knows joining with Saurfang would cripple his city.

That is the only reason his guild sides with her. For the safety of Quel’Thalas. This is bigger than just personal honor. Hopefully you can make it though! Even if you dont say anything, its still support having you there if you can.

May I ICly advertise this event at the Pro-Sylvanas gathering taking place Thursday?

You may come by yourself if you like, I’m sure there will be many present who will be interested.

Sure! I may swing by myself too!

How long is this event going to be? I think I can make it, though I might be an hour late.

I think I am going to cancel my event since there is already a Pro Sylvanas event happening tonight

I think you should have your event. The meeting tonight might just give it momentum.

Yeah keep it going, Anzl is right. The people there were informed ICly about the Thunderbluff occupation. Besides, Pro-Sylvanas sentiment is increasingly rare with the current climate.

It is entirely up to you but I would encourage you to not be dissuaded.

WrA needs more events like these to encourage people to engage in public settings and foster RP between all sorts of different characters. You might have a similar theme as the other meeting but otherwise, they are two entirely different events. Different environments, different participators, different voices, etc.

I would also say that this is a conversation that would be happening all over the place right now. It makes sense that multiple people have it. I guess I am just saying don’t feel like your event still can’t be unique or fun or even necessary. When it comes to RP, it is always, always better to have more than less. Many people at tonight’s event expressed interest in coming to this one as well. Not to mention people who didn’t/couldn’t make it tonight. I bet lots of them are still excited for yours too.

Don’t ever let something discourage you from being creative. WrA has survived as a great place because of people who bring people together and give others an opportunity to share their imaginations. You got this.

Oh no I wasnt going to turn it down based on a turnout, but moreso out of respect for the other event. I didnt want to pull anyone from that event. But this uplifting spirit from you guys to push on and keep going is really inspiring. This kind of positivity is awesome! =) Well I guess it’s back on then.

Thanks guys!!

So…basically this is an event to stroke your own ego where no opposition is allowed and yet you tell others to be “respectful” when you’re not respectful of their own opinions and tolerate no “Nosayers”. Even though you are shamelessly exposing that you are doing this event in Thurnderbluff specifically to stir trouble?

So you want to start trouble but you want those who should rightfully be there to defend that the Horde is NOT sylvanas and that you are NOT welcome in Thunderbluff to lay down and play dead? How wholesome…

People have to start taking responsibility for their own actions, we are Roleplayers, we’re not here to baby those who can’t stand criticism and anger where it should rightfully be.

This isn’t a community event, it is a mockery. Roleplay isn’t a one-way street. Neither is it meant to be.

Just because your faction’s Warchief in-universe is a totalitarian doesn’t mean you have to be OOCly. Especially with the venue choice for the event.

It’s their event. They can decide how to run it, not matter how much you have to suspend your disbelief, how unbelievable it is, or how much it’s meant to simply serve a power fantasy OOC.

Now if someone wanted to organize a protest… that would be THAT person’s event…

Yeah I know. It will all be in character there but I dont want all this yelling back and forth. It would ruin an event if we had people who were against her just showing up to ruin our event. This is a “come together” event. I dont care for the debate. If people have characters who want to hear our side, then it should just be respectful. There will other venues for debates

Smells like kor’kron in here.

You are, causing a debate by being, there. There is no “we don’t want this here because we decided it” you are in enemy territory. if you don’t want a debate and want to be left in peace…relocate to a friendlier place.

How is that not logical I wonder…

You’re basically telling us the very citizens of the city you decided to settle this in shouldn’t even exist, because you don’t want “conflict.” Yet you sparked it.
