Denathrius is complicit in the troubles the Shadowlands have been facing…
When first the Rebellion began, many did not believe it possible. Surely the dissenters were foolish- driven mad by the drought. But as Mortals began appearing within the Shadowlands, and bringing light to the darkness- all our eyes were open to the truth. To the corruption and perversion of our sacred duty. To the necessity of the Rebellion, and the rising Court of Harvesters. And though they surely will repair the damages done… to work in the Shadowlands alone will not absolve our people of it’s transgressions in allowing this to happen for so long.
To atone for the sins of the Venthyr’s gluttonous ways while misguided by Denathrius, we’re sending a group into the world of the living to help Sinners atone before death, to prevent some souls from being sent to Revendreth. The lands of death were starved, it is only right we ourselves ration. The Court of Adjudication will find those with Sinstones that begin to grow… burdened, and absolve them in the Mortal realm so that they are denied entrance to Revendreth, and instead are turned to other aspects of the afterlife.

Currently, we are preparing for Shadowlands, but will not begin events until after the first couple weeks of the Expansion, to allow time for folks to enjoy the new content! We are going to be Horde-based, for Aesthetics, and to try to continue the effort to bolster Horde RP on Moon Guard. In the meantime, interested parties can reach out over Discord to Ark#6666 to discuss story hooks for inter-guild interactions- We’re open to doing things inter-guild, and Cross faction!
If you find yourself playing a character that would take upon them the righteous cause of ensuring that countless souls are spared an eternity in the Maw, feel free to reach out to discuss a future with the guild!
And remember- You don’t need to be an evil, torture-crazed agent of evil to be part of the Venthyr. Ultimately, the task of sparing others from the Maw, and helping them find their place in another realm of the afterlife is a Noble and warm-hearted aspiration. And while clearly the theme of Revendreth and the Venthyr is atonement through suffering- and that will certainly be involved in some guild storylines- the Court of Adjudication is open to alternative methods of atonement. Even the kind hearted will be able to find a place to call home here, to help others.
Our intended environment will involve- Social Court (The theme does come from a land of Aristocratic Vampires, after all!). Tracking down big time sinners (NPC characters made specifically for our storylines) and helping them atone. Do we fall to torture and suffering, or are there reformists who nudge things to more peaceful absolution?! Joining in on major Server Campaigns to keep war crimes to a minimum (yeah, we know about the War Crimes at past events!) and more!
