Platinum is a brand new guild on the server Myzrael! We are here to build a tight-knit community of like minded WoW Classic players!
Okay, okay, okay… Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get to the real substance of this post.
I have made this guild out of a great appreciation for the WoW Classic experience. I myself never got to play WoW Classic in all of it’s glory back in the early 2000s unfortunately, but I’m very excited to play it now! I started Platinum because I believe that the best part of the old days in Warcraft was the community that were built. We didn’t have instant queues, or LFG tools, or anything like that. It was built on real players having real conversations and becoming friends.
I’m tired of seeing guilds advertise in general/trade chat almost begging for members. They flex how many members they have, or maybe having a tabard. That’s not what this game is about. Classic is about community, and that’s made by making legitimate connections with people and creating new friendships. Platinum is here to help create such an environment!
Platinum is for the players who aren’t here to power level and burn through content in a matter of weeks or days. Platinum isn’t for the player who’s just “checking things out”. Platinum is for players like us, the players who are taking their time, not because they are bad at the game or are just filthy casuals, but because we want to enjoy all that classic has to offer.
I hope to make a thriving community, where you’ll be invited to join a dungeon, not only because you’re a priest and we really need a healer (we do though), but also because it’s the perfect excuse to get you into discord because we love shooting the sh!t with our guildies!
Platinum has plans to raid in the future as well if the stars align, but we’re taking our time! Let’s enjoy this moment, WoW Classic isn’t going anywhere!
