Official Guild Recruitment Video
Let me start with a bit of a serious tone here. You’re all familiar with those race-only roleplay guilds that die in a few weeks, if not days. And the reason those guilds die, the reason almost every guild dies, is because of the lack of time the people in charge have. They don’t have enough time to treat for a guild, let alone care about it at all.
I realize this is especially true for guilds that attempt to appeal to every audience, and guilds that attempt to recruit only one race, like I am here. But let me tell you guys something, I have time, like, a LOT of time…
too much time.
I fully know the risks of running a race-only guild that appeals to everyone, but hey - high risk high reward - right? I’ve been excited nearly every day for five months to create this guild and begin recruiting, and the time is almost here. The entire reason I made this guild is because ever since I saw those Zandalari in MoP I wanted to play them… so badly. I knew that without Zandalari, a troll-only guild would never have enough momentum to succeed, but with all the hype they’re receiving? I’m hoping I can get a lot of momentum with this guild. But, enough chit-chat, let me start with what I have.

I know, for some of those i’m reaching, but let’s get into the details.
1. Unique Ranking System:
The ranking system i’ve put in place ensures that the people who actively participate within the guild will not only be promoted, but recognized as a person, and not some bot who does chores for the guild. It also ensures the officers won’t go rogue, and that the officers are actually good at the game.
The ranks you receive depend on how much time you actually spend in the guild, and your participation at events. For officer ranks, I will also take into consideration the type of person you are, because I will want to know each of my guild members on a level that’s comfortable for them - without pushing the boundaries.
2. 20+ Fun and Interactive Guild Events:
As it stands, I have roughly 20 guild events, and i’m trying to think of more fun and interactive guild events that don’t suck. The ranking system of the guild relies on the guild events, so without participation you won’t rank up. These are some examples of the events I have:
Arena Rumbles, Infiltration Nights, Standard WPvP, Kul Tiras Streaking, Transmog, Meet n’ Greets, Achievement Runs, and the Gurubashi Guild Event.
The only one i’m going to emphasize here is the Gurubashi Guild Event, i’ve set this event up to be the most important, seeing as the last three ranks you can actually achieve are from this event. To be brief, it’s a small arena tournament with tournament brackets inside of the Gurubashi Arena in Stranglethorn, there’s the initial tournament, where those who sign up will be evenly matched in a 1v1, and whoever makes it down the brackets to eventually win will get a money prize. You may also bet on fighters before a fight happens. After the main tournament bracket, "officer" duels happen. One of the main ranks, Zandalar Elite, requires you to win a best of 3 duel against… me! After you’ve gained the appropriate ranks of course. And don’t worry, if you play a terrible 1v1 class i’ll decide if you earned it depending on your performance.
3. Casual Raiding Team
As it stands, I only plan to clear raiding casually, and casually doesn’t mean there’s no progression, if there’s a sincere lack of progression and people failing to cooperate, things will happen - but nothing too drastic. I don’t want to be a jerk, and I already know Mythic raiding kills relationships and guilds, so if you’re looking for very intense raiding, this - unfortunately - isn’t the place for you.
4. Roleplaying
As the name suggests, this guild is HEAVILY centered around roleplay, but don’t worry, if you don’t roleplay… we don’t require you to! I hate to force people to do anything, and that’s why I appeal to everyone, if you don’t like RP, fine! You can do PvP or Raiding, if you don’t like PvP? Raiding! Don’t like Raiding? RP! We’re here for everyone. We’ll have both heavy rp and light rp, as well as even teaching newcomers how to roleplay.
5. PvP/WPvP
Emerald Dream has always been a very WPvP centered realm, and while i’m not a big fan of it, I know a lot of people who are. We’ll have standard WPvP as well as roleplay-centered WPvP with rival Alliance guilds. And for normal/instanced PvP? We do that as well, I do arena a lot - and i’m not completely against teaching people either. We have a lot of PvP centered events that have the possibility for being tons of fun.
6. Extremely Descriptive/Helpful Discord
I’ve created the discord with tons of info, the most helpful part, per se, is the roleplay section. If you’re unfamiliar with troll lore, or just how to do accents in general - i’ve typed up a 5,000 word discord channel single-handedly with the major tribes, their history, and how to type both normal troll and Zandalari troll accents. I really care about the people that do this, because we’re all a family - so it’s only right that I help people that want to get into it.

That’s about it as it stands, and if you’re thinking about joining? We’re going to be recruiting on March 5th, a week prior to Zandalari’s release on March 12th. The reason i’m recruiting then is because i’m attempting to go for realm first heritage set, and perhaps world first too, although I doubt i’ll get that. I want the guild to get a bit of a head-start while I slave away at leveling, and then recruit as hard as I can when I hit max. I trust that some of you will want to join, because well, a guild is only as good as the members within it make it.
