Hello I am a 437 ilvl protection warrior 8/8h 2/8m main on Illidan horde who is looking for a mythic progression guild to push cutting edge this season. I currently have struggled with a group that is having to pug almost half the raid every time we push mythic and would like a more stable home with a complete raid team to push content. I am willing to listen to instructions but I am also capable of raid leading or calling mechanics as well if needed.
Tyrannosaurus Rekt of <Seraph> Mal’Ganis is a Cutting Edge (CE) team founded just before Uldir to be a close-knit group of players who want to grow into the most successful 6-hour/week Mythic raiding team possible.

ilvl 410+, neck level 50+ (or close enough), 7/9M experience or better in BDA (or previous relevant Mythic experience). We may consider exceptional applicants who are returning to raiding, and have great logs from previous tiers
You must know your raiding class/spec thoroughly well. We will deep dive your logs.
No alts are required, but if you choose to raid on one, you should play it well enough to not need coached by others.
90% attendance. You must bring your focus and A-game for those 6 hours every week. TRekt raids on an ultra-light schedule, so your active participation and reliability are imperative for us to progress at an enjoyable and engagingly fast pace.

You may have noticed our rapid climb in progression rankings (in particular, doubling our progression ranking the past two tiers), and we wish to continue this relentless forward momentum. To climb into the ranks of Famed, we’re pushing harder than ever. This is the phase of a raiding guild’s progression that separates the semi-hardcore mythic raiders from Famed raiders. To this point, we hold high expectations: farming HoA, running at least one high key per week for residuum (ideally multiple for forges,) and having maxed/socketed Benthic gear are the type of thing we expect. Like any Famed or Famed-aspiring team, we do not want anyone on our team to feel like they are putting in notably more effort than others.
We are running a very competitive roster - tenure does not exist, raid slots are going to go to the most qualified. This includes trials. Bottom line: if you’re going to expect to be told “you need to farm this” or have your logs reviewed by someone else, this isn’t a fit. We’re all adults, working or in school full-time - if you want to raid for 12 hours a week, two hours of non-raid time to remain qualified isn’t a big ask. We’re not expecting you to spam keys until everything you have is socketed, but at this point of the tier, if you have something baseline (non-socket/forged) upgradeable through Mythic+, you’re not going to be a good fit.
That being said, I think back to when I came back to WoW and was hunting for a guild. I joined ALM after doing some careful consideration on a shortlist of guilds. I personally wanted a long-term home (and I hope you do, too) - so I carefully made my choice after trialing with a few guilds to assess a good mutual fit. Some guilds were very hardcore and were “all business” during the raid I joined them for, which felt a bit stale. Some guilds were a bit -too- chill, which gave me the impression it stalls their prog. ALM was the only guild that I felt gave the perfect balance of what I call “serious raiders I’d drink beers with,” and I knew it was where I belonged after speed-clearing BoD with them at lightning speed while laughing at all of the Discord banter and porting them to Dalaran Northrend at the end. The fact they played extremely well and could joke at the same time sold me, and if that’s the kind of environment you want, we might want you.
We also recruit social, normal, and heroic raiders to hang out and for our normal and heroic raids. We have many awesome less hardcore players that join us for heroic and normal to learn from our mythic raiders. This is a very active and growing guild with a booming guild chat and Discord. Whether its Mythic+ (chill keys or higher ones,) PvP, Islands, Dailies, or whatever else, you’ll always find some folks willing to join you. In ALM, you only play alone if you want to.
