9/9 Heroic Horde raiding guild After Dark is seeking a few dedicated folks for key roles as we close out this tier and look to the next.
Specific needs:
MDPS: Warrior/Monk/Pally/Druid/DK
Above must be able to maintain a passable offtank set and skill to be able to swing to cover for our tanks. We’ll consider backup heals as well but this is less of a pressing need.
RDPS: Priest/Mage/Druid
Our priority is for priest or druid who can backup heal
Note - we will honestly seriously consider anyone who is dedicated, able to make our raid times at least 75% of the time, and competent at their class. However, the above are our needs that fill our current comp plan. We can reconfigure for the right people.
Raid nights are Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 PM-11:00 PM server. We sometimes go a little late if we feel we’re really close to a progression kill, but generally not more than a half-hour.
Background on our unique situation:
It’s been a while since we actively recruited. After Dark is a raid group that has embraced the community feature to build out our roster. We’ve had a long fight getting back to relevance this expansion, and we’ve finally arrived at just around 13 or so dedicated raiders who are near 100% attendance. This was done through a collaboration with a guild on Lightbringer in a similar situation. Together we maintain an active community through which we’re able to run with a solid consistent group.
We’re now at the point that we need to fill out backups for our key tanks and healers, to reduce the real-life pressure on these folks and give them some breathing room. Once we’ve done that, the next step is to recruit up to 20, have our core raid transfer here, and work on being able to tackle Mythic before cross-server unlocks for it. That’s more medium to long-term though - right now our priority is strengthening our core heroic group.
