To put it short, i want to raid the new raid just for fun… i don’t really ambition beyond normal, and if i go heroic i don’t mind if i even kill the final boss.
here’s the thing, my most geared character now is this warlock… if my plan was to use him it would probably be fine, but i don’t wanna use him, i wanna use my dk because his tier set looks is by far the best.
but his gear is literally honor gear from last season, i clearly don’t have the ilv to even step in any raid… i don’t have the time to solo equip my dk before everyone has already set in their raid core groups and started raiding.
so the message spawns looking for people to raid will stop, i will be left with the looking for guild tool for everything… and i will probably end up missing it.
thats how i missed the raid last season, at this rate i will lose it again;
Start gearing up the DK with questing greens from Undermine, kill rares and do world quests there as well.
The questing greens are better than Siren Isle gear and upgradeable with only valorstones so should be easy to get to an appropriate ilvl for normal, LFR at least. Start doing dungeons when they open next week, too.
While doing that just try and find a guild, or once you’re more geared try pugging normal. Normal raid is easier than LFR, honestly. Don’t have to deal with people afk, playing a role different than what they queued as and generally being bad.
By pugging normal you may even find a guild to join. We’re in this season until mid September most likely, so plenty of time to clear normal and even try Heroic.
