I’m seeing the same thing. Chest is there, and I can stand on it. But I cannot open it and it doesn’t show a gear or a tooltip when you hover over it. This doesn’t happen every time though. I tried on a different classic server, and it worked as expected.
To debug I tried all sorts of things: disabled add-ons, logged-out and in, joined with another toon to try and get into a separate instance. Left the zone, logged out, logged back in. Exited the game completely. Tried to open it at different times - let it sit for 15min, try again. Nothing works on the chests that are stuck. It’s like they are just a rock on the terrain: you can jump on it, but that’s all. Please fix it!

This is happening in Classic Era?
Can you give me the steps before the chest became uninteractable?
Did you get an Arena Master (green trinket) previously?
Did you loot a previous Arena Chest and hop layers? etc.

same bug happening here. just tried it. havent layer hopped or anything in that sense. have looted it before.

How you guys found any fix yet? Or we just waiting of blizzard side for a fix?
I’m wondering how Swifty managed to get all twelve! Maybe this bug only affects alliance side on Defias Pillager? Can you guys confirm your faction and server? This might help the devs troubleshoot it.
eu firemaw cluster and it doesnt work. doesnt work on the EU PVE cluster either. seems to only work on HC servers atm. im horde

I am HC (defias pillager alliance) and its bugged on different characters (as soon as you loot the arena master badge once, it bugs)
I cant loot it I’ve tried for 2 days now and nothing

Perhaps it’s the three-day timer imposed on the other chest types? If so, the chest should be clickable again for me in a day or so. And then it would be non-clickable again for three days if that is the case. I bet they fix it on Tuesday regardless.

It has to be the Thursday “fix” cause thats when I couldn’t get it anymore but I looted one before then but after 1.14 went live.
Same here, I was only able to loot the chest once and every time after it spawns its unclickable/targetable. Made a ticket to blizz and got a reply saying they are unaware of other players having this issue. Hoping the fix this was a struggle enough to get a HC char to stv alone.
i got a ticket back and they don’t care they said they wanna keep things a mystery and i can make a report bug ticket

The only theory i can think of what might have bugged it was if any of us were using a layering addon to switch layers. After it bugged once, disabling all addons didn’t work either so its hard to say.
I was able to loot the chest that spawned 20 minutes ago. Anyone else had success?
Nothing changed. Same Character, same addons enabled as the last few chest spawns where it didnt work.
