I tried starting a Dwarf Hunter and had to give it up, the gun was driving me nuts. There used to be an addon that changed the sound to a bow, is it still on the go?

I gotta admit, I’ve missed the old gunshot sound effect since it was taken out of retail :<

Agreed completely… it just sounds so impactful and fun to use.
I get how it could drive some folks who might be a bit more particular with loud sounds insane though.
Yeah but the constant sound in my earphones is doing my lugholes in! I believe Dwarves should use guns though so reluctant to change to bow when I can.
I’m sorry, I like it better than the new one.
Can you replace the sound file with another? I remember people could do that with the worgen sniff but it’s been ages since then. Maybe it’s possible with Classic though?

Not disagreeing, it’s just too loud for me. 
You could change it to the new one by changing sound files. I’m not sure how ToS friendly that is though.

This will probably get nerfed in Classic because the game needs to be “PC”.
It’s ToS friendly. The way it works doesn’t actually edit any game files.
Legit couldn’t stand to play my hunter in retail after that swap. sounds like a bb gun.
Few things were as satisfying as hearing the rapid explosion sounds when using Barrage with that.
