I don’t think that the content is anywhere harder than CN. In fact, there’s only two hard bosses this tier at Painsmith (150 pulls) and Sylv (200 pulls).
I think most of the players and guilds just don’t have the motivation and incentive to push at this point of time. Especially if you think about Sylv fight which takes ~12 mins and is pretty much the same old boring mechanic.
Now would you rather spend 4 weeks doing something “unfun” during your nightly prime-time versus some new game out there ? Especially if you think about the state of WOW right now with nothing exciting to look for in 9.1.5 except Transmog / Cosmetic changes? I don’t know but I am starting Sylv progression and beginning to lose motivation as well.
What’s your thoughts ? Would be interesting to hear from one of the many 9/10M guilds who disbanded recently
Idk honestly, not a raider and don’t intend to be. I like going at my own pace. If I get there I get there. If not no skin off my back.
But if guilds are disbanding solely because of this than that makes me think there was much more going on in the guilds themselves that lead up to disbanding
It’s a combination of long drawn out fights, and piss poor loot drops. Sylvannas has never dropped loot for me this entire tier. I have killed her every single week.
I can’t even bonus roll her. Blizzard has removed ANY options from their game. First they removed group and master loot from the game while offering more generous personal loot. Then they nerfed personal loot (as we warned you they would) and removed bonus rolls. At this point WOW’s a slot machine that requires pattern recognition. It should be regulated under gambling laws.
my guild has multiple raiding groups and every reset we have to have a waiting list for people to get in to play. my server overall is extremely active in the raid and m+ scene.
