My guild is just a few IRL friends and myself. I consider it more of a personal bank guild (though they can take stuff if they want it) because the others play very casually. I mean so casually that only one of them has a level 70 yet.
I have a mass alt guild! Ethereal Seraphim, for my 80(will be 100 in time) characters. Iâve been in several raiding/social guilds, and Iâve loved most of them. Nowadays I just join communities or ask to join the Discord servers of guilds I like. I do M+/raiding if/when I want to, but I typically prefer working on my solo goals as of now.
Yep.
Still had connections from my mythic raiding days so i rejoined them though, instead of just making a solo guild. Better than nothing.
They mostly raidlog or play amongst themselves so the primary benefit i get is just tagging along in their alt raid.
OHHH now it all makes sense. xD I understand! I am rooting for you guys.
I have a solo guild, and itâs truly awesome to be able to have all those bank tabs for BoE mats, and different consumables / enchants for different level ranges and timewalking. You can also summon the guild bank from literally anywhere in the game to deposit or withdraw gold or items.
I have a guild that is me and my daughter and our alts. We got two of my other kids in and they played for a year but they didnât love it. Now itâs back to daughter number one and I and our 25 characters.
i inherited this guild from a guild master who gave it to me after he quit. it holds lots of memories.
lol thank you! We still push high keys together just fine without it. But it will be all the sweeter when we finally can make our own lariats.
I wouldnât care about guilds at all except there are perks. So yes I put my retail toons in my own guild.
Ive had a solo guild for a long time. I used to be a guild leader but really i was a babysitter of adults. Didnt want the drama so i disbanded and made a new guild that is just me.
Yep, it actually a family guild but my sister and brother in law have quit so itâs just my toons.
I tried from time to time to find a social guild, or even a guild dedicated to M+ but theyâre just not active or already have their own cliques.
Iâve even tried joining those groups that are for like farming old stuff but they end up inactive after a couple weeks it seems.
I made this Guild âThe Scarlet Allianceâ formed by this guy. Head cannon is the this guy used to be with the Scarlet Crusade, and after some events (To which I will not mention here given it would take a while I wish not to spend) he founded this Guild to help keep the history of the Scarlet Crusade alive. The good and the bad, as well as change the goal from ending the scourge to stopping any evil that threatens Azeroth and such.
There is more to it such as the âCrimson Trialâ I made for initiation to which one must acquire the Scarlet Crusade Tabard from the one dungeon to be allowed into the Guild as a New Blood. Roleplay kind of guild in a way. That and after a falling out of a previous guild I was in years ago I did not want to be part of another guild unless it is with good friends of mine.
Though I have very few left I can call as such, and none play WoW currently.
Iâm the only member of my guild. It was a three-person guild, with two of my best friends, but they havenât played in over 2 years.
Iâve considered joining another guild and reintroducing myself to harder group content, but in the back of my mind I always think âbut what if my friends come back?â and I just stay put.
It just takes time finding the right people. I absolutely love my guild. We support each other and are able to do some of the harder content in the game. Most of us even chat in discord through the day and play other games with each other during the week. I found them at the end of shadowlands when they swapped servers because of the lack of players in S2. I couldnât be happier here. I think in Shadowlands alone I was in 4 or 5 guilds before I joined these guys. I guess what Iâm saying is donât give up and Iâm sure youâll find a group of people you gel with.
It is definitely possible to find a good Guild. I just prefer my personal Guild since almost everything I do is solo.
Hopped a lot of guilds but eventually found a chill group of people through a mythic + community I was in. Been home for the last 2 xpacs.
I have a solo guild just so I can have the guild benefits for my alts. I really enjoy leveling and doing world quests with a partner, but I am retired, canât type and only like to play days. I dont like to raid and everyone does that in the evening sanyway. I have tried so many guilds specifically asking to only join if the guild has daytime players who also like to quest and level together. I have tried may guilds, but I can never find anyone to do more than help with one quest. Used to have a couple of folks that quested with me, but they went back to classic, and I donât want to repeat old content. I tried several times to post a guild recruitment listing looking for a few like-minded players but got no bites.
If you donât have a Gypsy, Cambot or Crow, are you doing with your life?
Idk, i cant see the point in being in a guild anymore. I mostly do what i need thru PUGs. I raid with my current guild but it feels like a struggle and with the play what you want attitude its not efficient. 4 hunter 3 evokers 3 druids amd whatever else comes thru the door.
We dont have a community as a guild so why be in a guild?
I have made my own private guild I like it
