Hello everyone,
I just recently started playing again after playing for a short time at the beginning of Dragonflight. I am 32, and have been a father for 4 years now, so adjusting to that kept me from the real grind. I have many different characters, but have chosen to main hunter for the last few xpacs. Since playing again, I have completed the newest campaign and ran through a handful of mythic+ dungeons (low 4 & 5s) to prepare for the newest raid & be relevant with ilvl.
The guild I have been in for a long time, (established 2006) has recently became inactive. The GM from the very start made a hard decision to retire themselves from the game. Many left afterwards, seeking new opportunity.
This is me now seeking that opportunity. I am looking for an active guild that plays multiple days during the week/weekend, and one that is running current raid content and has a want for progression, but can still be casual as well.
I have played this game since vanilla, so I have no problem helping out when needed as well. Thanks for taking your time and hoping to find a home soon!

Hi there Illmatic! We would love to have you in our family if we look like a good fit for you! From Ashes is an alliance guild my husband and I lead on the Whisperwind/ Dentarg servers. We are a social/ casual guild with a low stress raiding environment. Most of our members are older members (most are between mid 30s - 50s) with children and full time jobs. Our goal is to have a guild that feels like a family, where our members actually care about one another and want to hang out. We are firm believers that real life comes first and that this is supposed to be something we enjoy, not a job. We raid Normal and Heroic only, on Wed/ Sun from 8p-10p cst (raiding is not required to be in the guild though!), have lots of off night events scheduled (in game and out), and a pretty active discord. Hello Profitz/Illmatic!
I came across your post and wanted to reach out to you. I am the guild leader of Everlasting Vengeance on illidan. Like you, I am 32 as well and a father to a 5 and 3 year old! I 100% understand the adjustments required that you are talking about! Like you, I have played this game for several years and have made several friends a long the way. Sadly, many have moved on and stopped playing BUT that is where my guild comes in! We have a very friendly, social, and casual friendly atmosphere that I believe you would enjoy!
Everlasting Vengeance is a 9/9 Aotc and mythic+ focused guild that is more about having fun and making friends than anything else. We clear the raid every week on heroic and have been doing so for several months, but making friends is the most important thing to us.
We have a fairly social discord and an in game community that we invite even more players to that allows us a larger pool of players to run content with. We are not a big numbers super guild invite type of guild, we look for like-minded players that want to be more than just another number filling a raid slot. We want people to actually be friends here and enjoy themselves. My 1 officer and I have played together off and on for over 17 years now!!
