Guild specific content please

Imagine guild instanced content… I think this would be awesome. Certain areas of the world that contain quests/dungeons/scenarios instanced for guilds. There could be guild crest related mogs, rewards, and achievements based off completion of the content… Kinda like guild specific warfronts and such. Esport folks would benefit and the RP’ers could benefit because of added immersion… Maybe throw in a little PvP between guilds as well…

You mean raids?

No not at all… Use some more creativity…

Most of the raids are pretty creative

Cool story… I’m not talking about raids negative nancy

You went from sharing an idea to personal attack really quickly.

How are raids negative i think they are a positive for guilds, its instanced content you do with a guild, there’s cool mogs, pets and mounts also guilds get achievements for it.

I sure did, no regerts.

The point is that anything can be guild content honestly, from leveling to dungeons or raids… Even WQs if you want.

Doing dungeons actually gives guilds gold for doing them with guildies.

Should there be more rewards for doing things with a guild? Yes, I think so.
Is the content to do stuff with your guild already there though? Yes, I think so.

Thinking back to the Cata era when we had guild levels, there was a lot of pressure to actually do content in guilds, and there were rewards for it. It became some what of a drawback though because you’d have mega guilds sucking up all the players, simply due to the fact that they were most likely to have the rewards unlocked.

I’m not sure about guild exclusive content, though, because while I think guilds are great, having an expansive and interactive community sort of demands people reach over the boundaries.

That said, we do need more content that isn’t end game raiding.

The game already has guild unlocks, weekly guild goals and raid/dungeon achievements that are primarily done by guild groups. I get what you’re asking for, but I just can’t see Blizzard going out of their way to design content of that level for guild groups only.

This game is literary 99% content that isn’t endgame raiding

So, you mean what they did in Guild Wars, not 2, with the PvP aspect of having guild vs guild? Also, I think it was Black Desert Online that did something with guild vs guild.

Then in Guild Wars 2, they had special events that the guild have to do together each week like treasure hunt, obstacle courses, and dungeon runs. The big problem is that their reward system is terrible.

Thanks for a decent reply… I agree, I don’t think they would ever implement something “instanced” that is guild related other than raids or dungeons, but I think it would be cool if they did.

At max level? It’s mythic plus and raiding, that’s it. It’s all we’ve had for a long while.

I really think the only true thing missing from this game that could be guild related is some sort of housing aspect. Before they do something like that, I want a better crafting system.

I agree that it would be cool. I wish this dev team had the man power to do a lot more with each update, but it’s clear that these updates they rollout every few months are the limit of what they’re capable of within the timeline they’re given.

Its the same content repackaged with a different story…

And its every other single piece of content ever put into the game through the last 15 years. So yea its not just raiding and mythic plus its far more than that

I think you have hit the biggest topic that is the root of the problem. If you really think about it, they have laid off some employees and others have left. Then take what is left and split between current and classic WoW?

If I am to believe correctly, we did not get more hours in a day, yet they now have to work on 2 games instead of one. With TBCC, they now have 3 games to support for the WoW dev and management team.

Add in Covid… No wonder the amount of content is shrinking and development is taking longer for less.
