Guild set up

Guilds should be set up the same way garrisons are set up, as in Draenor.

Garrisons are a great idea. They give the impression of having your own society. You have an inn, a bank, mine, and so on. You have all these buildings and jobs inside of them. Yet you don’t really have anyone to share it with. There are NPCs that run them for you, but no real person. It gets boring and lonely.

Guilds have all these people coming together. They run raids, quests, chat, and help each other. Some guilds require a person to donate to the guild. These donations help to fund raids or cover costs. Some people don’t see the point in paying anything, or helping the guild to grow. There are people that see joining a high ranking guild as a way to get good loot, or bragging rights. It can be hard to find a guild to call “your home”. Guilds deal with people hopping from guild to guild all the time. There doesn’t seem to be a place someone can visually see how what they do matters.

What if you had the guild set up like the garrison? The guild master would oversee all the workings of the garrison. Just as they would in their guild. The guild treasurer would oversee the money. You could have a person overseeing what happens on the auctions. A guild would still have all the parts that it would normally have. They would have the added benefit of having the same buildings a garrisons have.

The only real difference would be, the guild would have a physical place to show it. It can house as a starting place for the guild members to meet up before raids. You can have a physical guild war/raid. Just as guilds have rankings; those of the same guild rankings, can have wars with each other. Either boosting or losing their ranking stats as a guild.

All these added benefits would help to bring guild members closer together. Members are more likely to stay in a guild, if they see that they are making a difference. Having a society, and others in it working together, keep people connected and interested.
