Guild services

Bring back paid services such as Guild Realm Transfers!!!

There are no guild transfer anymore because guilds are cross-realm now.
And you don’t want to do that either.

It doesn’t matter if guilds are cross-realm. If you want to chat with people on that server or recruit directly from that server in Trade Chat for example, they can’t see it. Or just for the pure fact of wanting your guild to be on a server that you spent soo much time over the years on. You also can’t chat with people you know across guilds on that server unless you attempt to add alllllllll of them to your friends list. There are tons of reasons to bring this service back.

Then you have a character in that server?

Things are simpler than you think.

Just because you have a character on that server and make them the GM for example, does not bring that guild to that server.

You don’t need to? Just need an officer rank with permissions to recruit in chat if that’s what you’re after.

And why do you only want recruits from one specific server? I’m old school, but even I don’t care what server they’re from.

You don’t need that either.

My guild used to help seniors get their groceries home.

Till everyone started getting rascals.

I know how rank permissions work but it’s not all about recruiting. It’s also about talking to people on that designated realm/connected realms without adding a tremendous amount of people to your friends list.

So server transfer the character. Or use an alt. I don’t know. I see zero reason to waste my time with crap that’s said in trade chat.

You can’t use an alt if you want the guild you’re in there as well. If it was as easy as wanting to server transfer I would have done that.

I have alts in my guild on different servers. The origin server of the guild is meaningless.

It might be “meaningless” but you aren’t paying attention to the reasonings of the request.

There is no reasoning other than “I want”.
Just create a new guild there if you want.

It doesn’t change anything. Unless you want to transfer to a dead server and climb to top and say “we’re the top guild of this dead server”

Well you are wrong on all fronts but that’s what happens when you make assumptions instead of reading what has been stated numerous times.

And yet I have responded to each of those reasons with information and logic.

But it appears like you are just trying to make comments to create arguments for no reason. The “information and logic” as you say are already known and have no basis on what I have stated and the things I have stated just null and void what you are trying to say. If you were just asking probing questions as to why from my original post then that would be another story but you are overseeing things and not paying attention.

You completely ignore the fact that you don’t have to move your guild to any realm and yet your guild can recruit anywhere you want.

There is a Proudmore guild recrutuiting in A52 with a level 20 druid every day.
You can move to the desired realm, your guild will be there with you, you just don’t have to go through the hassle that is a guild transfer. I’m surprised it lasted that long.

Someone making comments in response to your post, that are informative, isn’t creating an argument. An argument takes two.

Your original post said you wanted a paid service to transfer a guild. You didnt actually say in your original post why you wanted that until a later comment. Your main issue seemed to be that you couldn’t talk to people at large on that different server. That’s true and unless you pursuade all your guild members to pay for a server transfer, that’s going to be the way it is. If you feel that a guild transfer should be returned as a payment option, maybe put in a Suggestion via the ingame Suggestion system. Who knows, there may be others out there who feel the same.

It doesn’t work that way. The guild doesn’t follow you to the realm. Using your example…Just because your character that is the GM of the guild on say Proudmore transfers the GM to a character on Area 52, that does not bring the guild to that server. Only that character can see the people on that realm on Trade Chat etc. I am talking about moving the guild there completely. It does make a difference if you want your guild on that server for reasons not just for recruiting.
