So, if it is so easy to use Google, why is it so hard to leave a link to the source of a post or interview, or page?
I’ve already made my comment about it here:

I went beyond that and linked a blue post Yet you still haven’t admitted you were wrong. The Ego is strong in you young grasshopper. How many straws are you going to grasp at trying to prove your point?
Good for you, maybe link that blue post to the original person who asked for it instead of “just google it yourself.”
Oh, I’m sorry for being wrong in helping another poster asking for a source to an interview.
Thats not what I said or did at all. Stop twisting things out of context to make your point. I told that individual its 100% testable in beta. They can see it for them self
True, but to group up with those players or see people in general to maybe invite them to your guild is the issue. We already shard to the group you join, but if I never see people or when I do, they the shard to my dead server. We need fewer dead servers.
A problem I know with consolidation is character names and guild names already taken on the server your consolidated. This can easily be solved by allowing players surnames. I miss having a last name, but I think that is beyond the scope of Blizzard capabilities with using a coding system that is 10-20 years old and not spending some of those billions of revenues generated on major system upgrades.
The Guild isnt on a Server. YOU ARE. Transfer to lets say Area52 form Thrall? Your Guild is now on Area52 essentially
They asked you for a source to that interview. They didn’t ask for whether it is something happening in Beta.
At this point, it’s time to move on to more productive use of your time. Some people keep arguing because it’s entertainment to THEM, regardless whether they are wrong for doing so. No, asking for verification isn’t wrong. But constantly asking over and over and over and over again after many have already stated what can be proven in Beta and via a Google/Youtube search themselves is on the edge of harassment. Once is enough. Twice is overkill.
Ayukama you are really grasping at straws to make a point. We can all see your original response and see clearly that your goal was just to make an edgy post. You dig that hole deeper with every post. But you do you.
Best advice here. I retract my comment saying their head was harder than cement. Its harder than steel. I need to stop trying to get them to understand my point and just drop it and move on
Well stated. You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink. I have lead them to water. Its all on them from here on out to drink
The fact is, I am not the one actually asking for it.

That was originally the question asked.
Like, seriously ask for a source to the interview, get told to Google it, and have no reference to which to Google for, since any interview with Blizzard can turn up thousands of results.
if people cant help themselves they dont deserve others help . I do 30 -60 minutes a day resaerch that I would otherwise be playing the game , by doing that research , I save myself quite a lot more time when I am actually playing . I researched the game for three months before i returned at start of Wrath ( played for a bout 12 weeks in vanilla --hated it , played 4 weeks in TBC - game had got worse ) .
This is my FINAL statement in the matter. Im placing you on ignore. I already said why I was not going to link it. Its not that I cant its more that I wont.
Its verifiable in beta. EVERYTHING you just listed its a Mute Point. Your Glass holds no water.
I cant get you to see that. Its clear now that you are just too Daft. Me and others have tried. Its clearly never going to happen. That ego of yours is just topo big.
Please don’t tell me your trying to compare apples and oranges without comparing apples and oranges.
Original question:
Can you link a source to that interview
She originally asked for a source to that interview. How hard is it to actually read!
EDIT: Anyways, I’m just going to move on. This isn’t getting anywhere, and it is just going around in circles.
That’s actually the road block I ran into last night trying to purchase the guild transfer. And it’s not even clearly stated in the error message you receive when trying to do so. It all just says that the name is taken. I was confused why I couldn’t transfer after paying for a character name change, only then to find out it was the guild name not available on that server.
Choosing a surname on the character screen would not solve the problem of character names already taken on higher populated servers. Think about how many people have the last name “Smith” or first name “David” IRL…world-wide.
But if you want a surname in WoW, I’d suggest the addon TRP.
A minute before…
Don’t think anyone would want a cross faction/server trade chat
Just thought that exchange was funny. No harm no foul!
Difference was, I was making an assumption, wasn’t technically speaking for others.
OK ok…
That’s actually the road block
Not really. In the war within make the guild with the name you want on a dead server. Invite a toon on the populated server. Promote them to GM.
Done
I think maybe I am thinking of separate issues. I understand the transfer of guild system, from say Thrall to Area-52. That I grasp no problem as it currently is. My issue is more along the lines if the guild was originally on say Thrall, but I play on Area-52; I join a guild on Thrall, I am still an Area-52 player and likely wouldn’t ever see my guildmates unless I physically join a group / raid or a random shard where we get put together sometimes.
I just abdicate we need to think about the health of the game by consolidation. Also, if I am in a Thrall guild, but play on Area-52 server, our auction houses don’t align on everything so I would still pay different prices on gear that might be cheaper on the other server.
I may just have an ID-10-T issue.

Nod, I am just trying to think outside the box to help people that chose a name keep their name because they use an old outdated system when a person wants to transfer to a new realm with a character they hold dear to. I would hope however that you get a refund on the name if possible because Blizzard wasn’t clear in what was keeping you from transferring.
