Guild Roster Size

Since you decided to add all these servers to my guild and the opposite faction, you should increase the character amount in a guild past 999.

You should kick people who haven’t been online in 6+ months.

If they’re truly members of your community, you can kindly inform them in your guild’s discord that you need to make room for people who are actually playing the game.

No characters in the guild longer than 21 days offline

A more elegant solution to the problem is making the 999 slots for accounts and not characters. Half your problem is probably people with 8 characters in the guild.

Alts shouldn’t all take spots.

Could work hypothetically, Issue being the average amount of characters per account in the guild is 2.5. Guild has been around since Cataclysm and there is over 350 active account in the guild.

Well, great. That opens up 600 spots for you.

Ahhhhh, I get what you’re saying. You’re Brilliant!!! Now that this game is more alt-focused than it has ever been. You can’t play your alts in the guild you have been in for 14 years

??

Alts shouldn’t take up guild slots =/= alts should not be allowed in guilds.

Guild slots are not the only thing that should be account-bound by the way. Gladiator spots and Mythic+ titles are another area where this is a problem. 9 of the top 10 Enhancement shaman last season were one player. Since titles are percentile based, it really stinks when there are, say, 1000 gladiator titles, but realistically only 200 people get a gladiator title because they all have 3-8 glad range alts.

More things in this game should be tied to account.

I understand what you mean now, my apologies. How would we go about voicing to them on these issues that could be resolved and make everyone’s gaming experience better? I’m thinking we all go storm the office in Cali and protest.

Lol getting snippy at someone offering feedback on your idea.

But yes, alts shouldn’t count to the guild tally.

X, formerly know as Twitter, seems to be the only way the community can really communicate with Blizzard. And even then it’s normally through “celebrity” intermediaries, like particularly accomplished or famous players. If you can get Asmongold to make a 100 million view Youtube video about it, it might get addressed.

My guild has like 8 people in it, and its all my alts

PREACH IT! I’ve been saying we need more membership space since the Cata server merge when Blade’s Edge merged with Thunderhorn. Seven more servers were merged in Dragonfight and now EVERY server is available. Not to mention both factions AND more races to enjoy.

Our guild formed May 4, 2011 and has had space issues especially with launch of new xpacs and patches. I purge our roster of inactive toons (with the memorial exceptions of 4 guildmates who have passed away in real life). I do it daily now for any toon not active in the past 21 days. There are no inactive toons in the guild.

We have aprx 377 accounts with an average 2.6 toons per account. Considering people play alliance and horde, want to try all the new races and new people from other realms want to be a part of what we do, I’d say we have kept the roster very lean. Guildies are volunteering to pull alts and take them to our alt guild, but it’s no fun there compared to what we do in the main guild.

People want to remain a part of guild chat and guild events that are on the in-game calendar, keep the guild rep and ranks built over months and years that they have earned.
I’m not sure people from small guilds and or guilds that have no social interactions can understand what it means to develop guild friendships, dependable groups and event consistency that we have developed over the years that make The Dignified a really great place to be. Everyone knows what to expect every day. It’s like a fun small town! When people hear what we do they want their entire family of characters, their friends and even family members to join. Everyone can invite others to the guild so everyone has the people they enjoy.

I understand Blizz may not want one guild to seem like it has all the people, but if a guild offers what people want, then let’s GO. And now that ALL realms are open and people have more options, that shouldn’t be a concern. If small guilds don’t use the extra space, that’s cool too. Do what feels good for you and your guilds.

Blizzard said they are listening to their customers. We are yelling now so please hear us! We NEED more guild membership space!! PLEASE.
