Every day Officers lose their abilities, and I have to reset their ability to talk in Officer Chat, set MotD, promote/demote/kick etc etc…all resets to factory settings.
Please take a look.

Same thing is happening over here. I have re-enabled guild rank permissions for “officer chat view and listen”, set motd, edit/view public and officer notes and modify guild info 4 times this week and it keeps resetting to remove from all ranks from new recruit to Guild leader.
Same issue here. Guild perms reset daily.

I had this issue also but for me it was because of addons. Once I updated GRM (believe it was the issue) the problem was solved.
I’m guild master and can’t change MOTD.
I have tried with no add ons and still having the issue
This is also happening to two guilds I either own/am an officer in (using different characters). Also reported by multiple people at Guild Rank Permissions keep reverting - #9 by Malochai-moon-guard
Same with us.
It has nothing to do with addons, because permissions are resetting when I (the GM), am not online. Every day since pre-patch launched this week. Getting very old.
Our guild tracked this down to being caused by people server transferring without first leaving the guild. When someone transfers, you can tell by seeing everyone currently online in the guild show an alert of coming online again all in the same instant, at which point guild permissions will then be broken and need to be reconfigured.
