Guild Neighborhood Questions

In all the information that I have seen so far for player housing and neighborhood selection for guilds is that both Horde and Alliance players can be in each faction’s neighborhood. My question then comes to, can the guild select the neighborhood it wants if it’s a cross-faction guild? So, say that my guild and guild leader are Horde, can we then select Founder’s Point for our neighborhood, or are we stuck with Razorwind Shores?

What has me questioning this is that in the Midnight Deep Dive from yesterday, quote, “Your Neighborhood is faction-coded in its aesthetics, but not faction-exclusive in its residency.” I was really hoping that the Deep Dive would have answered this question, as it feels like it’s going to cause a good bit of frustration and confusion when the housing update releases, and then guilds have to rush to figure out how and in what way they have to do things to get neighborhoods to work the way they want.

Some other questions that follow up on the primary selection question are, if the neighborhoods are still going to be fully tied to the guild’s faction, how do you change the guild’s faction now that guild faction transfers have been removed from the store for a while now? What happens to an existing neighborhood if the guild transfers to the other faction?

We need these questions answered so people can plan accordingly sooner than later. Housing and neighborhoods come out in less than 2 months.

Are guilds forced to use the faction they originally were created on?
As OP said, there’s no way to faction change guilds anymore, this really cannot be a thing.

Is guild neighborhood architecture faction locked or not?
Can we have a definitive answer on if we can build horde houses in the alliance neighborhood or not? The September 2nd blogpost says no, the latest interview says yes.

It’s been shown on Alpha that you can have one house of each faction.

Can guilds have one neighborhood of each faction?
If the answer to this is no, then it’s going to be pretty awkward for players in guilds who want to live in different neighborhoods.

What do the subdivisions of neighborhoods look like for larger guilds?
Is it just a copy/paste same map with 50 more plots? Does it have a 2nd neighborhood center? Etc.
