Established in 2019 to fill a noticeable void in Blizzard forums in the EU, when they removed the guild leader forums, “Guild Leaders United” is a discord channel by and for guild leaders (along with officer/raid leaders) to discuss issues, swap stories and help solve problems for one another.
Personally, I’ve been successfully (I’d like to think!) running the same guild in the EU since early 2007, so feel I have plenty of experience, even if only for our specific “niche” of guild (which is a fairly casual, social guild, that only runs normal and heroic raids).
Within our discord group however, we have a wide range of people from both the US and EU - from those just starting out, to those having had to pick their guilds up off the ground and start again, to those who have or are running massive guilds, multiple raid teams, cutting edge raiding.
We also have those experienced in writing addon’s for WoW, and running large WoW-based discord groups.
So, if you run a guild, help run a guild or are planning on doing so, come check us out. You are not alone - running a successful guild can be hard and sometimes you just feel you want to quit because those NOT running a guild cannot understand (and mostly, don’t care to). We do.
