Guild Halls: What Would You Want?

If Blizzard put guild halls in the game, what would you want?

Personally, I’d love to see a mission table, but instead of sending champions on missions, you’d have to go on the missions as quests with guild members in groups of 3-5.

Oh, I like that. Maybe bonuses for doing quests using a certain amount of different members?

I’d like the hall to have its own bank function, where there are crafting stations spread out inside, and materials can be deposited there for easy access by guild members.

This would be harder to implement, but I’ve also always wanted a Guild Uniform transmog option, where the GM chooses a layout of armor for each of cloth, leather, mail and plate, and members of the guild can freely transmog to that look whenever they feel like it. Something neat to do for public showings of guild might and spirit.

A wall mounted “Black List” for guild members to watch out for.

the only downside to this is, if the guild starts losing members for whatever reason, an empty guild hall is pretty disheartening.

I really enjoyed Swtor take on player housing and guild housing. I wish blizzard would have taken that model for it all.

If Blizzard put guild halls in, I’d want them to take them out. Hey, you asked.

A trophy room for big boss kills.

Part of the game and acceptance of times change. [insert Garrosh.gif]

Guild House → Guild Hall → Player Rooms within Guild Houses
That’s what I want but WoWs in maintenance mode, much like their other games besides Overwatch.

this i think would be cool.

not sure what this means. can you explain?

Maintenance mode means that an online game no longer receives updates or content, and instead its servers are just being maintained.

Which is kind of baffling considering we just had a patch a few weeks ago with content, and the season just started.

Although in response to OP: I would absolutely love if Guild Halls were something everyone within the guild could contribute to. As in, Mythic Trophy rooms, PvP achievements as a guild being showcased, guild achievements in “physical” form instead of being just achievements.

I would absolutely love if we could upgrade it as well by gathering materials from all over the world, in old and new world content. In addition, perhaps a guild quest as well!

Ever since the introduction of communities, guilds have been functionally the same as communities, and guild halls would be perfect for differentiating the two much more.

If they’re gonna put in guild halls then personal housing will probably be in the same patch. I’ll just do housing.

if i understand raicolette correctly, the player housing could be in the guild hall. like rooms in the guild hall.

That actually sounds pretty fun for those guilds with 3-5 active members left.

Sure. They’re not trying to make the game better. Just putting out enough content to keep players logging in / content. Recent star example, HOTS (Heroes of The Storm). That’s, what maintenance mode is, well one of the variations of it.

Reacting to their changes instead of being proactive is not making the game better. See, the past 3 years of PTRs, if someone is going to try and argue a point that they’re trying to make it better.

all my members shall wear slutty :octopus: armor

They could also add rooms to the thousands of buildings around azeroth that have no entrance and put a price on them. Like the closed door buildings in orgrimar and stromwind.

I’d rather they not and just do Personal Housing.

An instanced thing you can decorate to your heart’s content with almost any ingame asset/prop. You can have its own Hearthstone, too. You can spend gold to install a mailbox, bank, and a portal to Stormwind/Orgrimmar. Just not TOO much stuff otherwise even cities will be completely empty.

That way when your guild eventually falls apart, it won’t effect the space you decorated.

yeah i had said the same thing but needed a program to eject you from the house after a half hour and then you cant go back in till the housekeeper has finished cleaning it. maybe a couple hours later. to keep people from disappearing inside their houses like garrisons did.

Just add eq2 housing then? XD I agree.
